No, it isn't. But that is not what you are doing. Enough blood has been shed. Do you not remember Christ told us to love one another as He loved us. That means we should be willing to die for them. We certainly shouldn't kill them like you suggest.
No, he has not. That is correct. Everything which held the death penalty still does. So I am glad you mentioned this.
Ok FG, here is where you are having a problem. You are confusing two different things.
A. We should love one another.
B. The government having the right to exercise Capital Punishment.
You are going round and round with me calling me all kinds of names when you really don't need to. And for the record your words are not hurting me, my shield of faith is way to strong for that to happen. I only am trying to get you to stop for Christs' sake. If you truly are a Christian (and I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt here brother) you should not be attacking another brother in the faith like this. We should be able to disagree agreeably.
FG you are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT when you say that we should love one another. You are 100% correct. You can not be More correct than what you already are. There is no Christian on this planet that can argue against that stance. I agree with you 100%. We are in full agreement there. There is no problem so far.
Now, when we start talking about Capital Punishment via the government; that is where you are having a problem.
You obviously do not like the government having the power to exercise Capital Punishment. That is where you and I disagree.
Now you are not insane because you don't like the death penalty. And likewise, I am not insane because I do believe in the death penalty.
We both believe that we should love one another. We are in agreement that Christ came to die for our sins. We are in total agreement that if we ask for forgiveness of our sins, that He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins. We agree.
Now, this is where you are having a problem.
Let us use the state of Texas for our example. If you are a citizen of the United States of America, and you live in the state of Texas then you are a Texan. This state has the death penalty. They use this penalty in Texas.
Now, young Vlad is a bad kid. He has been in and out of juvenile hall and jail his whole life. Now at 20 years old he goes out one night and rapes and murders a young woman named Mary Jane Goodspeed. She did nothing to deserve this wicked violent death. Now all her hopes and dreams are gone. He father and mother are devastated. All her friends and family are in severe mourning.
The police catch Vlad and there were three witnesses who saw him grab Mary Jane and throw her into his car. They called the police but he escaped before they could get to the mall where he took her. He left blood evidence at the scene of the crime.
When they put him on trial he breaks down and confesses to the crimes. He gives all the details of how he brutally raped her then stabbed her to death.
They find him guilty of rape and murder. The judge sentences him to death.
He is found guilty of the crimes of rape and murder. He is given the sentence of death by lethal injection, by the authority of the state of Texas.
NOW HERE IS WHERE THE DISCONNECT IS HAPPENING.
You want him to walk.
I want the state of Texas to carry out the sentence of death.
You want to forgive him of his sins, and let him walk free.
I have no problem with forgiving him of his sins. However, I still want him to pay for his heinous crimes.
I can forgive him for what he did. We can give him three days to make his peace with God. No problem. He will have plenty of time to ask God for forgiveness of his sins. FINE!!!
He still should pay with his life for his sickening vile deeds of rape and murder.

That is where you and I disagree.
I have no problem with you believing that the young man should walk. That is your opinion and you are entitled to it. I am not going to call you insane. I am not going to start a campaign to destroy your name calling you insane and mentally unstable because you believe that this young criminal should walk free and be able to do the same vile acts again, and again, and again...ad infinitum.
We can both have our form of justice in light of Scripture.
We can forgive this young criminal and beg the judge to set him free. Stating that Christ is very forgiving and we'd like to forgive him, and let him walk scott free.
We can also say he can have his time to ask GOD for forgiveness. He can ask us to forgive him. We can forgive him. Fine. However, we still are going to carry out the sentence of death that was given to him by the state of Texas.
You see FG, I can understand this. I think you can understand this too. Yet you act like you don't. You for some reason just try to lay slanderous attacks at me for some unknown reason.
