Create Your Own Candy Bar

If you were asked to make up your original idea for a candy bar, what would you make it out of?

The king size Reeses candy bar is basically what I'd create, haha. Buttttt..

Maybe like a cookie dough candy bar. I know they have cookies and cream, but this would be flavored just like cookie dough, same texture. Maybe when you bite into it it might have some kind of melty goodness inside like caramel or chocolate fudge or vanilla or something. Om nom.

Mmmmm. Sounds good. I have to say though..The idea for this thread came from a 30 second soundpiece that I heard on the radio tonight. Some company said they are going to give $500,000 to one person who comes up with the next best candy bar idea. I don't think anyone here would argue a 50/50 split if I actually pick an idea from this thread and submit it to them.

There's a charming candy store in my hometown called Sugarfina that has gold champagne marshmallows I'd love to pair with chocolate to create a candy bar. I think a strawberry-infused white chocolate bar with the marshmallow in the center would be fantastic, as would a Nutella-esque chocolate hazelnut bar and the marshmallow. Another candy shop has toffee-flavored marshmallows that are delightful. I also really love strawberry Finnish-style soft licorice and Japanese-style mochi, and would love a bar combining the two!

I'll just stick with chocolate with maybe some rice crispy for crisp. I don't like candy, never have.

Carolina Reaper infused 70% cocoa chocolate, blended with dried vine fruits, banana chips and piquin chillies, all dusted off with cinnamon and nutmeg.

The Carolina Reaper is a very fruity pepper, so all of this would mesh well. I might even make this myself.
