Cramping

Is it normal to have very light crampy feelings in the first trimester of your pregnancy? I have that with no spotting at all, just little twinges or light cramps here and there.

The cramping you are feeling is prob. from the uterine muscles stretching, and is very common.

I had that feeling with all three of my kiddos during early pregnancy.

It is totally normal, hun. My OB told me that the light cramps are just your uterus stretching out. I was concerned about this as well with my first pregnancy, but my OB reassured me. With my twins, when I first found out I was pregnant with them, I thought that my period was about to start any minute, but took a pregnancy test and it was positive! I continued to have them till about 12 weeks with them. I'm sure all is ok, hun, but you could always call your doctor and discuss it with them.

Good to hear. Last night I was very uncomfortable, I couldn't sleep well at all. I couldn't get comfy with the uncomfortable pressure/cramping feeling. Did anyone else experience this uncomfortable feeling when trying to sleep early on?

I did, and I believe the others are right...but just to be safe maybe you should talk with your dr...

To all of you who had cramping, how long did it last for? I had cramping with my first pregnancy for a while, but when I actually miscarried, I didn't have cramps. So, now I'm obviously paranoid that I get cramps off and on, but I remember having them for a while with my first.
