I used to love making my own board games as well lol.I just remembered some more crafts I've made. I've made cards for birthdays and holidays. I've made my own board games. Some years my brother and I made paper chains together to count down the days to Christmas; two years ago I made one by myself and drew and wrote things on the chains.
One year I made my own Advent calendar, one time I turned a cardboard box into a bed for my stuffed toys, and one year my parents and I decorated Christmas stockings for the family. Here are pictures of those.
And that makes me think...now that I know how to sew, I think it might be fun to make an Advent calendar from fabric.

Haha the strategy games sounds like they would have been fun. I tried to do things like that with my Pokemon figures but never got far.Yeah, I had so much fun making them lol. A close friend of mine and I also used to make strategy games out of army men.There were different phases you would go through, like a troop movement phase, fire phase and morale phase. =)
Thanks! I got the globe itself from a local craft store, and made the frame from basswood, which was painted to look like a Christmas present lol. I think it turned out pretty well.

I got jealous and a few days later I ended up doing the same thing with a Bulbasaur toy I had; I made a house for him and everything haha.Haha the strategy games sounds like they would have been fun. Also.... MagnetsI've made magnets before and they're a lot harder than you would think to make, haha. Also I really shouldn't be allowed near hot glue guns.
I think this would be something great to do with old candles but then again I'd like to learn how to make my own candles anyway.
