He doesn't care now, but so what? He wasted his life. For the rest of eternity, he will have wasted his life. It doesn't matter that "he doesn't care now". He blew it.
Mark
I spoke in terms of your responses...why would I value this short life if I exist eternally? Think of it in terms of money...if you had an infinite amount of dollars and I took 100 from you...would you even worry about it? If you only had 200 dollars and I took 100...would you value the 100 I took more...or less?
Your suggesting life is lived and then gone. I'm saying life is eternal. Not a repeat of the life you have lived. Sin needs a place to conduct it's business to make it's eternity. Sin enjoys harming people. Therefore, it made hell. A place where all of it's follower's will be harming themselve's. Life however, is a place where life only exist's. Pain doesn't exist in life. I cannot tell one that is against it. i can certainly suggest it. Whoever cause's pain to other's knowingly, is going to knowingly suffer that pain eternally.
Maybe you think by sermonizing I won't notice that you're just dodging the question...but I'm not that dumb. Would you like to answer the question I posed or trade sermons?
You're suggesting I should have no hope. Nah.
Want to answer me? I'm sure it far better. Please don't hate me for offering a better way.
And please don't bore me with some fake logic of how you must die ist.
I couldn't care less about your hope. The question you're avoiding is "who values life more"? Answer that and I'll gladly answer any question of yours.
God of course. He died for you.
Do you admit God is amazing?
I'm not going to even get into how silly that is. You don't believe god is dead, nor do you believe Jesus is dead...so tell me again who died? Lol
The question you continue to avoid is who values life more, you who thinks it eternal, or me who thinks it finite?
The question you continue to avoid is who values life more, you who thinks it eternal, or me who thinks it finite?
Who's eternity? According to atheist's, he doesn't have eternity. He doesn't exist.
Me of course. I'm for life eternal.
The fact that you're disagreeing with it, prove's you're wrong.
Your choice is your choice.
I'm aware you're out of reply's, but repeating that I'm not answering you're post's when I have, actually doesn't work. Sorry to break the news there.
You answered it after much ducking and dodging, sure. Even though you contradicted yourself, a contradiction is still an answer...even though you now appear confused.
I mean the rest of eternity as far as the universe is concerned. I don't mean Hitler's personal eternity.
For the rest of eternity, Hitler won't get a second chance at life. That is a reasonable statement.

Well then you're contradicting your earlier statement...if you value life more than me, you must think Hitler killing himself would be a huge sacrifice....not a small price to pay. Which is it?
You can't value life and claim there aren't any consequences to how you "use" your life...sorry.
That's weird coming from an atheist. According to an atheist, an atheist won't "get a second chance" either.
So who cares what he did?
This discussion assumes that no one gets a second chance, no matter what their beliefs. We're assuming that death is the end for anyone and everyone.

Mark
You are asking the wrong question. The issue isn't "who cares". It doesn't even matter if Hitler cares. Even if he thought he was living the best life possible, that wouldn't mean that he was in fact living the best life possible. Even if he didn't care about living the best life possible, he still blew it. The reality is that he had wasted his life, and he will never get a second chance.
eudaimonia,
Mark
