Do you want a second chance Mark? I mean, if you find out that you are wrong?

Why? I'm not saying that my life is perfect, but I'm doing well enough this time around. I don't see why I would need a second chance.

Regardless of you're hate for colours

My what?

how did Hitler "blew" it, considering it doesn't matter anyway?

I can't answer your question with the proviso that "it doesn't matter anyway". It does matter.

So, the question I will answer is: "How did Hitler waste his opportunity to live a good life?"

Hitler lived a life based on fear and hate. He commanded great acts of murder, and had even committed suicide in the end. Perhaps if he had remained a painter, he could have created something of value, something he could legitimately be proud of. Instead, he was a force for destruction.

If you think his live enviable, there is something wrong with you. It is obvious to just about anyone that he lived on a subhuman level, achieving only the subhuman. This is a waste, because he was a human being with human potentials. He didn't adequately explore the good, creative values that one may achieve in life. He turned his back on his own amazing human potentials. His life story is one of tragedy and waste.

Life is eternal. And it is not some repeat the same thing kind of mentality. It is life eternal where it is always new, never looking back. It is called hope. It is a good thing.
Its called clinging to your precious SELF.

I have imagined it, it seems pointless. Heck, I can break any rule and live like hitler and have no consequence's.
If faith in eternal life is the only thing keeping you from evil.... PLEASE keep your faith!

Let me get this straight, and please correct where you see fit.

You are suggesting that the opinion's of other's matter? And that you fear doing what you want to do? How is Hitler doing what he wanted to do and then never existing again hurt him again?

Who said anything about envy? According to a person that believes a life ends as easy as it began, it doesn't matter anyway, all will die and none can say one way or the other for another person, so it doesn't matter anyway.

If a person believes that all die and are never able to exist again, no punishment, no answer for the deeds they have committed, then who cares? Heck, I shouldn't even care that other's disagree with me. According to your logic, none will exist anyway, so who care's.

Who is an atheist actually trying to impress? Them selves? Are we supposed to be impressed that you are so devoted to knowledge and void of a response as to where it came from? That sounds tragic.

Do you admire people more than the source of people?
(Do you admire creation more than the source of creation?)

According to a person that believes a life ends as easy as it began, it doesn't matter anyway, all will die and none can say one way or the other for another person, so it doesn't matter anyway.

The problem is that you are only talking about the endpoints. Life is about the journey, not the start or the end. It's the journey that matters, even if it does come to an end. So, yes, it matters during that journey.

If a person believes that all die and are never able to exist again, no punishment, no answer for the deeds they have committed, then who cares?

I do!

The quality of my journey depends on how I act during that journey. I will be punished in this life for any misdeeds. If I waste my life on misdeeds, my punishment is that I've wasted the only opportunity I have to have a good life.

Heck, I shouldn't even care that other's disagree with me. According to your logic, none will exist anyway, so who care's.

Not according to my logic. According to your logic.

I'm not trying to impress anyone. I care about understanding reality for what it is. I don't live for your approval.

Do you admire people more than the source of people?

Do I admire people more than vaginae? Yes, though I appreciate both.

(Do you admire creation more than the source of creation?)

There is no such thing as creation. The universe is uncreated, IMV.

I personally don't aim to impress anyone, at least, not by being atheist. This is like asking someone "who are you trying to impress being Christian, you just want to set yourself up as better than other people, don't you?". It is really rude.

Do I look better than other people? You are so kind. :)

It isn't wrong to have a belief.

So how come you come to a forum for Christians? Is it to put your two cent's worth in, or to try and convince other's that atheism is okay? Maybe you enjoy the company and like us. Maybe you like us so much that you feel comfortable with us.

I personally enjoy the fellowship.

Oh, I am on here to learn how to be more patient and use less aggressive speech. This is a good place to do that because there is a lot of heated debating on here (which is my trigger for rudeness) but being that it is online I can try to rethink what I say and edit it before I post for all to see.

Although to be frankly honest this wasn't the reason I first got on here, it is just the reason I continue to be on here. The first reason was because I saw some Real Actors Read Christian Forums videos posted on an atheist forum and I wanted to see if people really made such stupid statements on here. I wasn't exactly shown to be wrong on that point, some people do say pretty ridiculous things on here ^_^
