Could this be the end of Nvidia?

Nvidia Stock Is Down Big. Don’t Expect a Quick Turnaround.

Nvidias stock this year and within recent weeks especially has been going down and the company is almost bankrupt. Even after the government chip bailout tech companies are still having a hard time staying afloat. Could this be the end of Nvidia as we know it?

Intel just came out with its own GPU a few weeks ago with moderate success. This is by far not the end of the gaming industry if Nvidia does go bankrupt but they are currently the largest GPU company in the world so their demise would be a major loss at the very least. I've been a customer of theirs for over 20 years so, it would be a loss for me.

I've been an Nvidia user for a long time as well, not exclusively; but I do prefer their products. I hope the company manages to survive.

Whatever happens though, hopefully the prices of GPUs will come down soon. I've been wanting to build a new PC for the last 3 years, but I haven't done it because the prices of GPUs are ridiculous.

They are at least cheaper than they were when the epidemic started. Newegg just recently had a $600 off sale on the RTX 3080. I don't even want to say how much I paid for my 3090 last year. Far a lot more than what a 3090 ti is currently going for. Prices will slash even further when the 4000 series comes out. They're really NVIDIA's last chance at making it.

It's difficult for a company to go so long with low supply driving demand prices out of reach for so many customers.

If they can hang on until the situation returns to reason, they will see a turnaround.

I know. Things have been hard for all chip companies since COVID started. Not just NVIDIA but NVIDIA is getting hit the hardest. Just sad that once one of the richest companies in the world could fall so hard. Their stock is down another 2.82% today.

Time for 3DFX to rise from the ashes! *Sigh* If only...

Hey you laugh but if the 4000 series doesn't do very well that might become a reality. That or maybe Intels GPU will do well. *fingers crossed*.

I'd love to have a new NVIDIA graphics card. Unfortunately, I can't justify that expense with the prices the way they are and they way they have been.

Exactly. It's an improvement from 2020 but we still aren't quite there yet.
