  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Could anyone tell me if this is true?

Wait, joshua 1 9 told us it was only the infidels who would try to be critical of the Bible. But you're a Christian. The plot thickens...

Here's Joshua 1:9

Josh 1:9
9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."
NASU

I don't see anything there about infidels, I don't see anything there about the Bible, so I'm kind of wondering about your biblical interpretation skills.

Well I've never heard of that but I'd never heard of creationism before coming to this forum either, so. Lol. I go to a public school for science & technology. Oh we definitely study evolution. I've never heard of anybody having a problem with it. My mom's a minister. We definitely don't have any problem with it. I have a test on stellar evolution tomorrow. I'd love to say evolution is against my religion so I can be exempt from it, lol.

Ignore that link. The site just does it automatically. I am referring to the user joshua 1 9 (ignore the link), not the bible verse which is why I said in my last post "I'm referring to user joshua 1 9 ".

He was talking about how it was the infidels who insisted on trying to say the bible was condoning a vile practice like enslaving a child from birth to death. But you as a Christian agree that this practice is not moral.
