CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Seen I'm no dab hand with the needle, I never made a costume. If I did..hmm. I did think of who I would cosplay, but I'm having a bit of trouble recalling. Probably because I have not watched a anime series for years now.
I did like taking pictures of others in costume. I especially was over the moon when I saw someone in a well made Assassins Creed costume once. Unfortunately I came across a fair share of Naruto characters. Nothing bad about that, except that I did not find that interesting as subject for photography. The Naruto costumes are usually fairly simple and often seen.

It's probably not that nobody is interested, it's just that this section of the forum is very inactive. What did you delete? Were they cosplay pics? I'd be interested to see them...Here's another

I have never done cosplay myself (unless you count Halloween) and I probably never will. Realistically, you need to have the face and body that matches your character in order to properly pull it off. BUT there are some I've seen which are amazing. And no offense to anyone but it seems a lot of the people that do them are very socially awkward or downright creepy so I tend to avoid going to conventions like that.

My wife is a big fan of these japanese cartoons
