A member recently joined that is French and it got me thinking about corresponding with people from different countries. It would be a great way to learn about different peoples and cultures. I'm wondering if the exchange of email addresses is in violation of any rules here. I'm a newbie and I like this site and wouldn't want to be banned for any infractions. If there is a way to do it properly, I'd really appreciate suggestions. Thank you!

Thanks for the reply, David. And I agree with you. It really isn't something I would just throw out there until I got to know someone a little better. I do think it's a neat idea though. Perhaps an international lounge could be added...

We actually have forums for International members here. I have posted in the Australian/New Zealand forum but there are other ones if you want to talk to people from other countries
