  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

hopefully someone will be able to help me...

i'm working with coreldraw 11 to create a layout for a journal i'm working on, and we plan to use 3 pictures. i've had them scanned into a jpeg file, and can import them into corel, but i can't seem to save the file i've created with them, regardless if i use a brand new disk.

i actually get two successive error messages:

1. file copy error. TEMP Drive or Output Drive may be full.
2. Error writing the ____ file

can anyone take a guess as to what's wrong, and suggest what i could do? i figure it has something to do with #1, but i don't know where to go from there.

thanks for the response.

it's pretty empty actually. i'll just save there.
Well, if you have hard drive space, I would check your preferences and make sure you have the temp folder for coreldraw set to a valid folder....I believe that corel products put folders in your my documents folder and if you delete them it will cause stuff not to work right........it's possible you may have to uninstall it and reinstall it, or you might even be able to run a repair from the CD, I know that the Corel WordPerfect Office Packages have a repair, but I'm not sure about coreldraw......
