It's not really important to convince her.

Billy Graham used to say, "My enemies wouldn't believe any explanation, and my friends don't require one." Rings true..

It sucks having friends that think you're led astray, doesn't it? :-(

Oh well. The Word stands. I'd dead to man's opinions.

yes, it does. And I would hate for her to waste her time praying for me when it is her that the devil deceived and kept away from such a powerful ministry. Especially when the way she believes is EXACTLY how Copeland believes. we haven't argued about it, it's not really an issue, she "just wanted to let me know." I told her...even if he was a freemason, he still preaches the gospel. and I told her I won't throw the baby out with the bathwater. like i said in an earlier post...Copeland is just a man. I have never lifted up man in anyway. I have never idolized anyone. and i don't depend on any minister for my relationship with God. It's God I am in love with, and men and women like Copelands are for enhancing my relationship with God, not responsible for it.

Considering everything you said here, perhaps you should encourage her to pray for you. Times praying for others enlightenment often brings light for the one praying as well. :)

I have a friend who decided the same stuff. It was rather sad. Now we only eat dinner together once every two months or so, and we stay away from theology.

Yesterday I thought about him, and how his baptist church "is in error"... got me all riled up. I think the devil's been attacking me through relationships lately. I refuse to walk out of love. In Jesus' name it is so.

I don't need to convince everyone. I just gotta stay on the track God has given me.

You know how Jesus said not to cast pearls before swine? He followed that up with "lest they turn around and tear you to pieces".

If someone's not open, they're not open. And the Holy Spirit is bigger than I am to lead them into all truths.

Matthew 19:29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

funny trick!

Count the men and watch how 12 men turn into 13 and
then back to 12 again. How do they do it?

This argument is ridiculous! If Brother Copeland is a Mason, why has God blessed his ministry so much? Why has Brother and Sister Copeland helped so many people come to Christ, and those setting out on ministry?

No folks, this is an attack of the devil. We should see it as a blessing. Satan doesn't attack anyone unless they are a threat to him. And Kenneth Copeland is one BIG threat to that guy!
