Hey everyone my name is Jennifer and I'm new. talk to me.
I'm 20 years old (soon to be 21) YAY. I attend Trinity Western University in Langley BC, I hope some people reply to this, that will be encouraging. I love God. I am glad I found this site, its cool. I hope I meet some good people on here...Its pretty late now so I guess everyone is in bed...Umm I Dont know exactly what to say about myself here, so I'll keep it vague for now. I'm 20 years old, I live with my parents, I go to a Presbyterian church which is pretty traditional but I love it, the messages always are good. I teach Sunday school there to an awesome group of 11 grade FIVErs.
Marital status? Single. Recently had a rough break up with my boyfriend but he wasn't a christian and my relationship with him was putting a huge strain on my relationship with my parents and my relationship with God was suffering as well. Now I am getting used to the single life. I went through some rough teenaged years but I suppose everyone did to one degree or another. I am so thankful that I was able to stand up for what I believed and not get sucked too far down the 'path of destruction' for lack of a better cliche. The grace of God never ceases to blow my mind every single day. I love debates! I am a strong advocator of choice. I also believe the Gospel is the crazy, insane, life altering and like NOTHING ever seen or heard. My loose translation of the great commission: "JUST GIV'ER!"
Some of my pet peeves:
"he's high on life and Jesus is his dealer!" (shudder. Ned Flanders comin thru)
"THAT was a GOOD testimony" (hmm may I ask what isn't a good testimony??)
ANyway, yah...wow its late and I have to go to bed. NIGHT!
