Cool ornament

This is related to an earlier thread about celebrating holidays like Halloween and Christmas. I found this ornament at a house sale. It's definitely not a new item. I have no idea what it's supposed to be. But it sure looks like Coronavirus to me. I think it's kinda cool, and for $2, I couldn't resist it. It may be tasteless, but it will be on the tree this year.

Yes, it does look like all the pictures of the Coronavirus. Certainly a talking point!

Ha! That ornament is from around the 60s/early 70s. It does look like a virus.

The spouse and I go to estate sales and we were struck by a space-age tree topper, and so now it's part of our traditions. Looks very much like this one:
