CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't know why they would have an issue with it. The top chefs in the world are mostly male. It's obvious men know how to cook. But this is no means a sexist post.

We should have a poll and see how many men REAALLY want a wife that can cook. Are there guys here that truly see a woman who knows how to cook as "marriage material"? Regardless of her other talents?

I don't care if she knows how to cook. I'm so used to cooking myself and making my own simple healthy meals that I'd prefer she not "take over".

I would like to think that men were able to fed themselves before "the wife" comes along and saves them from their awful bachelor diet. That and plenty of women in my family lack basic culinary skills and most had no problem getting married....the best cook in my family (e.g. eldest sister) is, in my opinion, the worst in the "wife material" department.
