  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Freeze spaghetti sauce in single serving portions. I add meat and extra seasoning to "Newman's Own" sauces (helps with charities as well).

Your ideas are welcome.

I use left overs topped with mashed potatoes and call it cottage pie, or sliced potato and abit of origano and call it The Italian Job.

I try to eat less (but eat more high quality foods) and mix in some intermittent fasting (at least two eighteen hour fasting periods a week). Saves money & I'm healthier than ever.

What high quality foods might you be referring to?

Things with high nutrient content, usually things I need to take time to prepare from scratch, such as fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, butter, goat's milk, etc. - ... as opposed to pre-made, pre-packaged, processed foodstuffs.

Non-GMO foods? And where do you get goat's milk, if you don't mind me asking?

Yes, I prefer non-GMO products ... Goat's milk seems to be in most American grocery stores I frequent - have you not found any?

No, just the occasional canned goat milk, and that's a real stretch LOL!

Yes, and gives the digestive system a chance to expel & detox out, instead of incessantly taking in.

And the great effect is felt the same day. No waiting for the reward.

Just baked seventh loaf of bread from 10 pounds of flour. Have enough for at least 3 or 4 more loaves. LEARN TO BAKE!

I love the crunchy heel slathered with butter hot from the oven. (I'm really not gay, I just like to cook.)

Oh man, nothing like fresh-baked bread! I've missed baking. Hopefully I'll be able to knead the dough again soon. (I could delegate the task to my mixer, but it just doesn't seem right. I've done it once or twice though.)

Ummmmm .... canned goat milk is NOT the same. I've never bought fresh goat milk commercially, but I used to keep a herd of milk goats. It's funny how much the flavor varies by breed and by what they like to browse on. I had a sweet little Nubian named Dakota that used to give the sweetest milk!

We bought our cow's milk, when we needed it, at a local dairy. Local farmers are some of the best sources for fresh products, if you live near any. Often they are hidden right in plain sight, or maybe I've just lived in the right parts of the country so far.
