  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm sure there are others on here that live alone so thought I'd ask for good recipes just for one. I usually just cook up recipes for 4 and freeze them but not everything reheats well and sometimes you just want something fresh not reheated. So any good recipes for 1 and also any tips on storage of food that doesn't come in small enough quantitites for just one (I particularly find this with perishables like milk and eggs).

What do you like to eat?

There is a wonderful book I recommended called "The Flavor Bible."

I use it to create my own recipes.

Lets pretend you have something in the refrigerator and you don't know what would pair well with it. This book will tell you everything that works well with it.

There are no recipes, just ingredient pairings. It's a wonderful book for a cook like me.

However, what types of food do you like to eat?
