Converts?

I want this thread to be dedicated to everyone who was of a former faith or belief and then converted to Christianity and tell why they did in the first place.

Above all, what has everyone gathered that made them convert? Why Christianity? Please feel free to tell me your background beforehand, what you believed then and your perspective, etc., why you may have had rejections against the church, what was your belief enviroment being raised by parents? What did they believe? What was the ultimate turning point, what inspired you?

I can't really answer your question since the only thing I've converted from is nominalism (having grown up in a church at Christmas, Easter and Harvest family). But I thought I'd post so you didn't think your thread was being ignored.

I hate to say this, but, this is really not the place for this type of topic, the edification forums for Christians only, is the place for this type of discussion.

Also, I think you will find, that a great number of Christians converted.

As for why I am a Christian,

Well God called one day, and I answered. I know it sounds lame, but that is what I have for now.
