CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lord thank You, I know You heard our prayers for this storm Rita...Lord please lead us to continue to praise you and call upon You everyday...to just want to be with You and live our lives walking close to You. Lord, may real...deep lasting changes come to our hearts...preparing us for Your return. Thank You Lord...for bearing with us thruough all our weaknesses...Lord Your strength is perfected in our weaknesses...thank you Lord, thank You for Your faithful love...always poured out to us...help us to drink it in...amen!

I come before you praying for my family. We're going through tough times right now with my mom and I moving within the month. I pray Lord Jesus for guidance on when to pack our belongings. I also intercede for my mom who is dealing with her credit card company for overcharging her. I pray that your will be done in this situation.

I come to you in all humbleness praising you for all that you do for us. Thank you for giving us the inner strength to handle day to day trials and tribulations. The ones that don't know you Lord are still being taken care of you. Thank you so much for that. If only they would just open their eyes to it though. Help the ones that believe in you to be the brightest light for you. Giving these people only one choice to come and investigate what it is about, ask questions and be curious of you. Inspire the believers with the right words and actions. Empower the Holy Spirit to work a revival spirt in the believers. To want to minister to their fellow neighbors....to be friends with them, to help them out in times of need, to show them love in anyway possible. Help us as the Body of Christ to unite together and bring more souls in for your kingdom. Lord, I pray that anyone that wishes and is feeling convicted to come to you, to believe in you and to ask for forgiveness that they get up right now and make that a priority in their lives. How great are you Lord that we can come to you asking to be forgiven because you died on the cross for us. Being that perfect and one and only sacrafice for us Lord. I am saddened that we failed you God and you had to sacrifice your Son for us. But I do rejoice in knowing that when we die, we will be able to make that up to you in heaven, by worshiping you for eternity. Thank you so much for all the provisions you make for us daily Lord.....In your Holy and most Precious name I pray......Amen!

Lord Jesus, thank you for good times of fellowship, in small groups within the local church, and right here at CF. Different personalities, different gifts and ministries, but we worship and obey one Savior, who saved us with His own precious blood. Thank You, Jesus!
