...continued from previous post..
Solomon hated life when he came to the realization that all of the work of his hands were grievous .for all is vanity and vexation of spirit. And so is religious man's works of his own hands....grievous...heavy laden....works of vanity.
(Eccl 2:17 KJV) Therefore I hated life; because the work that is wrought under the sun is grievous unto me: for all is vanity and vexation of spirit.
Those that will hate their life or soul shall keep it. The life in this world is the religious thoughts and ways of erroneous men whose works are profitless. We are to no longer partake with them.
(John 12:25 KJV) He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
The wine of covetousness has led many to work the religious works of mans folly. But the Lord comes to give us His understanding .so that we can keep His law .His INSTRUCTION. With His Light, we can observe it with our whole hearts.
(Psa 119:34 KJV) Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
With His revealed instruction, we can turn away our eyes from beholding vanity the covetous works of religious man. For all of religious mans works .his denominations, his teachings, his commandments, his riches .are vanity and vexation of Spirit. With His instruction, we can be made ALIVE in the Way.
36 Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
37 Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.
A covetous church leader is one without true heavenly understanding. He is a great oppressor of the congregation. But he that hates covetousness shall prolong his days as the Lords servant.
(Prov 28:16 KJV) The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.
Many covetous, rich leaders have ruled over the churches and the teachings .the many waters. They have grown rich with the wine of Bablyon .the wine of her fornication .COVETOUSNESS.
(Rev 17:1 KJV) And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great harlot that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
Her end is coming though .and the measure of her COVETOUSNESS the wine of Babylon.
(Jer 51:13 KJV) O thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, and the measure of thy covetousness.
Those that love her wine covetousness shall not be truly rich.
(Prov 21:17 KJV) He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.
For if we are drunk with the wine of her fornication covetousness (being unfaithful) who will commit to our trust the TRUE RICHES?
The mysteries of the kingdom....the true riches.
(Luke 16:11 KJV) If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?
13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Yet, there will be those Pharisee leaders of the church who will deride the Truth when they will hear these things ..for they will not be able to separate themselves from their great possessions and their covetousness.
14 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.
But God will know their hearts by how they will react to the Truth .by the deriding of the Truth. They will be those who will seek to justify themselves before other men. What is highly esteemed among men is the ABOMINATION in the sight of God .in the face of His knowledge. Man shall rise up in his pride and covetousness to deride the Truth in the time of the revealing of His knowledge .the sight of God. The abomination of desolation is covetousness.
15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
Covetousness is in the place where it should not be in the temple of God as shown by Jesus driving out those moneychangers and those who sold oxen, sheep and doves in the temple. Covetousness should not be in our hearts .nor in the church body of Christ.
(John 2:13 KJV) And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
And what is found in the temple in the holy place? The covetousness of religious man selling and making merchandise of His people .selling the sheep. They will preach peace and safety selling doves as Jesus comes to drive them out.
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
Covetousness is the abomination of desolation that will make its stand against the Truth deriding him as the covetous Pharisees did. It has desolated the Fathers house by making it a house of merchandise. But the desolators shall be desolated themselves as Jesus shall drive them out of the temple yet again.
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
When we see the abomination of desolation standing where it ought not be .in the temple we are to flee from the covetous false prophets. They shall make merchandise of the sheep..the people selling doves .preaching peace and safety .teaching the heresies.
(2 Pet 2:1 KJV) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
And through COVETOUSNESS .the abomination of desolation they shall seek to make merchandise of you the sheep. They shall seek to keep you from the revelation of the Truth. But the Lord comes to drive them out.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
When we UNDERSTAND this, those who are in Judaea .Christ Jesus the TRUTH .are to flee to the mountains.
(Mark 13:14 KJV) But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
Forget the religious things of man altogether .the things of man .his teachings .his garment that he uses as a cloak for his covetousness.
15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
We are to take heed and BEWARE of COVETOUSNESS .the abomination of desolation. A mans life consists not of his religious riches his doctrines his garments his commandments .his great works.
(Luke 12:15 KJV) And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
Let us go to the mountain of Jehovah instead. He shall teach us His ways instead of mans ways. We will walk in His paths instead of religious mans.
(Isa 2:3 KJV) And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Let us flee to His mountains .to His righteousness and away from mans works of righteousness which are motivated by the covetousness in his heart. We shall be preserved in the Day of His wrath upon those who will love their religious lives in this world.
(Psa 36:6 KJV) Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.
Let us trust in God rather than what religious man says.
7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
Then we shall understand the mysteries of the Scriptures .we shall drink of the river of His pleasures. His revealed knowledge shall satisfy us.
8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
In His revealed knowledge is the fountain of Life in His Light shall we truly understand. That Light is Christ Jesus the Truth the Way and the Life.
9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
The Light of His knowledge comes to save us from religious, covetous men. But some men shall love the "darkness" rather than the Light....because their religious works are evil. The
(John 3:19 KJV) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
The Light REPROVES religious man...his works are works of darkness....they are in vain...vanity and vexation of spirit.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
But those who will love the Light of the Truth and DO it...shall be saved. They will not refuse the Truth when they hear it....they will come to it.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
