The definition of “unorthodox:” not conforming to accepted rules or standards.

As can plainly be seen in the Bible, Jesus was “unorthodox” in his teaching…while the “orthodox” Pharisees, Sadducees, scribes and lawyers opposed his doctrine for their own accepted rules or standards….doctrines of men. Jesus spoke the Truth to the “orthodox” established religious order of the day and yet they did not listen. Today, the “orthodox” establishment will also be concerned about their own doctrines and commandments…their own interpretations…their own traditions of men….their own tenets. Will they also not listen to the revealing of the Truth?

(Mat 15:1 KJV) Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
2 Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

Like the days of yesterday, the “orthodox” will not want to hear the “unorthodox” revealing of the Truth. They will take counsel against it….to no avail. Jesus is THE Truth that can not be destroyed.

(Mat 12:14 KJV) Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

Those who will follow the “unorthodox” preaching of the Truth…Christ Jesus…shall be healed of their spiritual sicknesses….their envy, strife, hatred, divisions…that has been brought on by the earthly, religious “orthodox” wisdom of man.

15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

The “orthodox” religious order of men shall speak evil of those who will follow the revealing of the Truth in this last day…just as they did 2000 years ago. Nothing will be different….history will repeat itself in the churches…and we are to remember the past or be doomed to repeat the error of the Pharisees, scribes, etc.

(Mat 12:24 KJV) But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

If they spoke evil of Jesus, how much more shall they speak evil of us…who will hear, believe and preach the revealed Truth in this last day? Will not the persecution come from within our own “household”?

(Mat 10:25 KJV) It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

Just like 2000 years ago, the “orthodox” men of today shall speak railing accusations against those who will preach the Truth. You will not be considered a “Jew” (Christian) in their eyes….but a “Samaritan” ….a heathen.

(John 8:48 KJV) Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?

A man’s “foes” shall be they of his OWN household….his own church organizations. “Foes” = “hateful, to act hostile.” The “orthodox” religious men of today shall act in hostility to anyone who will be preaching the revealed Truth….the “unorthodox” preaching….just as the Pharisees did with Jesus.

(Mat 10:36 KJV) And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

The “orthodox” men shall be offended by the preaching of the Truth. The Truth shows us that man’s church organizations worship God in vain….teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. His creeds, rules and regulations shall not save him…they are profitless. The doctrines and commandments of men are idols that many bow down to. They are affixed in their positions within man’s church organizations by the “nails” of religious man’s teachings. They move not out of their respective denominations. There they have stood for many, many years. They stand in people’s minds…lifeless…and they are passed down from the church fathers to the “children”….never moving. We are to take up that cross….pole…that has been affixed into our minds by other men…and follow Him…the Truth.

(Mat 15:7 KJV) Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

We are to “hear and understand”….what man preaches out of his mouth is what defiles him. When religious man shall speak evil of the Truth in this last day, it will defile him.

10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

And the “orthodox” religious leaders of today shall be offended by this saying.

12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

Some of the “lies” that shall be preached this last day by those will not give heed to the “unorthodox” preaching of the Truth: They will say that they have no sin…no missing the mark of the Truth. Yet, speaking evil of the Truth is deliberately missing the mark of it….willful sin….missing the mark purposely. They shoot their “arrows” of evil speaking at His righteous instead.

(1 John 1:10 KJV) If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

They shall say that they know Him….but not keep His commandments. They betray him with a “kiss”…they will honor Him with their lips but their hearts shall be far from Him.

(1 John 2:4 KJV) He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

They shall be speaking lies in hypocrisy saying that they love God and yet will hate their brothers who will hear and believe in the Truth.

(1 John 4:20 KJV) If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

They will refuse the Truth…..willfully not “hearing” His revealed Word.

(John 8:43 KJV) Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

They shall hate the revealed Word of Truth…and those who will love it. They will not abide in the Truth but shall depart from the faith in order to keep their own religious ways and practices….just like the “orthodox” Pharisees did.

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

They shall not believe in the revealed Word of Truth…even though “all shall be revealed.” The Pharisees willfully departed from the Lord with an evil, unbelieving heart….just as some shall do in the church after hearing the revealing of the Truth.

45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

To “sin” is to miss the mark of the Truth…it is preaching error in the face of the known Truth…it is opposing the preaching of the Truth. It is deliberately missing the mark with the “spears” of their tongues.

46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

The “orthodox,” Pharisee men of the churches in this last day will not want to hear that their worship is in vain…teaching nothing but the commandments and traditions of men. Remember Cain whose offering God had no respect in….his offering was the fruits of the “ground”...likewise, many offer the fruit of the lusts of their own hearts thinking that is acceptable worship. They build grand church buildings, they build grand ministries…for their own glory, they think that “gain is godliness”….bigger congregations, bigger buildings, bigger egos….all profitless fruit of the ground….of man’s own invention. When man harvests the fruits of the ground, he bows down….bowing down to the works of his own hands.

(Gen 4:5 KJV) But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

The “orthodox” man should be swift to listen to His instruction …the “unorthodox” preaching of the Word of Truth…..and be slow to speak…especially against it. He should be slow of wrath against the Truth. Remember Cain who was “wroth” after learning that his offerings were not respected.

6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

If they do well towards the revealing of the Truth…hear and believe and do it…then they shall be accepted. But the first reaction of “orthodox” man to the hearing of the Truth will be one of wrath ( just like Cain’s reaction)….but he must overcome his desire to speak against the Truth. “Sin lieth at the door” of man’s mouth…..he will be tempted within himself to oppose the Truth in his wrath…but he can overcome sin. He can humbly accept the engrafted Word that can save his soul. Religious man will not want to hear his worship is in vain…and his kneejerk reaction will be one of wrath. But he can overcome.

7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Those who will be of the “man of sin”….meaning those who will let sin rule over them by their evil speaking against the Truth…shall hate those who will believe and do the Truth…just as Cain did with Abel. “in the field” refers to talking about the interpretation of the Scriptures. Come let us reason together. The modern day “Cain” shall rise up in his hatred against those brothers who will be preaching the Scripture of Truth.

8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

Those who will not bridle their tongue from speaking evil of the Truth will be deceiving his own heart. That man who shall speak against the Truth….his religion is in vain.

(James 1:26 KJV) If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

We are not to hate our believing brothers (Abel) in our hearts….nor speak evil of him…suffer “sin” upon him. Sin lies at the door of man’s mouth. Religious man must overcome his desire to speak out against those of the Word of Truth.

(Lev 19:17 KJV) Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

Anyone who hates his brother is a “murderer”…following in Cain’s way.

(1 John 3:15 KJV) Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

It is no coincidence that “Cain” means “spear”….for it is with the mouth that unbelieving religious man shall speak evil….his hatred…towards his brothers who will believe in the Truth. As it says in Psalms 57, men have teeth as “spears”…and tongues as “sharp swords.” They will “kill” with their evil speaking…their false accusations and reviling of those who will believe in the Truth…whose offerings of righteousness in belief shall be accepted.

(Psa 57:4 KJV) My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.

“Cain” = spear. They shall “whet their tongue like a sword” and bend their bows to “shoot” their bitter, hateful words at those who will preach the revealed Truth.

(Psa 64:2 KJV) Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
3 Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

We are to put on the whole armor of God so that we may withstand in the “evil day”…when the unbelieving brothers shall shoot their “spears”…their fiery “darts”…at us. They shall speak evil of us…as evil doers…heretics….blasphemers… etc.

(Eph 6:13 KJV) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

We are keep the faith in the revealed Truth so that we shall be able to quench all of the fiery darts of the “religious” unbelievers of the Truth…the “Cains” of the church who shall arise up against us.

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Like Saul, they will cast their “javelins” at us….hateful, bitter, jealous words…as we “play the harp”…preach the Word of Truth. Preaching the Word of Truth with skill is like playing a musical instrument well.

(1 Sam 18:10 KJV) And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and there was a javelin in Saul's hand.
11 And Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall with it. And David avoided out of his presence twice.

We are to put up again the “sword” of our tongue….for those who will take the “sword” of their tongue to speak evil against the Truth shall perish with the “sword”… tongue.

(Mat 26:52 KJV) Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

They shall fall upon their own “sword”….their own tongue shall bring themselves trouble. King Saul also fell on his own sword on Mt “Gilboa” which means “bubbling fountain” or “fountain of ebullition”….which means fountain of a sudden outburst. They shall have an outburst of rage against the Truth which will prove detrimental.

(Psa 64:7 KJV) But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
8 So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.

Their own tongues shall set their own lives on “fire”…the “fire” of wickedness.

(James 3:6 KJV) And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

But religious man can overcome his desire to speak out in wrath against the revealing of the Truth. He can keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking the guile: “I love God” but hate his brothers in his heart over the Truth.

(Psa 34:12 KJV) What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

He can depart from evil and do good…seeking peace and pursuing it.

14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

The knowledge (eyes) of Jehovah are upon His righteous believers….and His ears are open unto their cry. He will hear about the evil “fiery darts” that will be shot at them.

15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

Whosoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles. Religious man is to overcome his wrath from hearing that his worship is in vain. He is to be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow in wrath against the Truth.

(Prov 21:23 KJV) Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

But unfortunately, there will be those in the church who shall rise up against the brothers who will believe in the revelation of the Truth. The time is coming when those who will “kill” you with the “spear” (the meaning of “Cain”) of their mouth (speaking evil against us in their hatred because of the Truth) shall think that they will be doing God service. Their religion will be in “vain”…..for they will not bridle their evil tongue from speaking wickedness against the Truth.

(John 16:2 KJV) They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.
3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

But we are to put on the whole armor of God in order to withstand the “fiery spears” of their evil speaking in this last day….for great will be our reward in heaven. The “kingdom of heaven” is to have mastery in His knowledge of the Scriptures. We can rule with Him in His throne of judgment in complete understanding.

(Mat 5:10 KJV) Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

History will repeat itself in the churches.

12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

The “wicked” are to be revealed by the preaching of the Truth in this last day…for what is in the heart of man shall be seen be all. They will be “born” so to speak….revealed for all to see.

(Mat 10:26 KJV) Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

(Psa 58:3 KJV) The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.

The “wicked” shall stop up the ear from hearing the revelation of the Truth.

4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;

They will not hearken to the preaching of the Truth….no matter if it is done with great skill.

5 Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.

The collective “man of sin” will come forth to deride, defame and oppose in the last time …in the time of the revelation of the Truth. They shall be unified by their hatred of the Truth. They will bear “fruit”….evil fruit…against the Truth and against those who will hear and believe in the Truth. We, those who will hear and believe in the Truth, shall know them by their “fruits.’

(Mat 7:16 KJV) Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

The “wicked” will be the unbelievers in the churches who shall reveal what is truly in their hearts by their negative reactions to the Truth…the unveiling of the Truth. We can then understand who the “wicked” are as mentioned in Psalms and Proverbs when we keep that thought in mind. We will understand their judgment and their ways and thoughts….for God has revealed those things ahead of time to the people who will listen with the ears of understanding. He reveals His hidden knowledge in the Scriptures. We can then see what kind of “wicked” “fruits” that shall come forth at the revealing of the Truth by those who will not believe in the revelation of the Truth and be saved. The “fruit” of the wicked will be to willfully sin….to miss the mark with his evil speaking against the Truth.

(Prov 10:16 KJV) The labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.

The wicked will not keep the instruction of our Lord when they will hear it. They shall refuse the reproof of Him…proving that they are indeed the “wicked” in their stubborn rebellion against the Truth. They will seek to keep their current man-based religious ways and thoughts.

17 He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.

They shall slander those who will keep the Truth.

18 He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.

They shall speak perverse things in order to deceive those who may be escaping from them.

(Prov 10:32 KJV) The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.

They shall speak great swelling words of vanity….in order to lure those Christians who will have escaped from them by the hearing of the revealed Word of Truth. They shall seek to bring them back into their “fold”…their “prison.”

(2 Pet 2:18 KJV) For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

Their “counsels” shall be deceitful as they attempt to deceive even the very elect.

(Prov 12:5 KJV) The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.
6 The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.

They will desire the “net of evil men”….their own religious teachings of bondage…instead of the Truth that would set them free. Man’s doctrines and commandments keep many in bondage…in an evil net.

(Prov 12:12 KJV) The wicked desireth the net of evil men: but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit.

They will promise “liberty” to those who are escaping from them…and yet they are the servants of corruption…caught in the “evil net” of men….bondage.

(2 Pet 2:19 KJV) While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

And those who will listen and obey their false teaching shall again be “entangled” in their “evil net.” It would have been better if those who are seduced back into their man-based religions had not known the revelation of the Truth….the full knowledge (Greek: epignosis) of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

The wicked shall speak perverse things…..heresies. They shall deny the Lord who had bought them. They shall contradict and oppose His revealing of the Truth. The revealing of the Truth is for our GOOD…and we should hear and obey.

(2 Pet 2:1 KJV) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

But many shall follow them…..and they shall speak evil of the Way of the revealed Truth. They will choose their own ways and thoughts over His ways and thoughts….making themselves as “gods.”

2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

The “wicked” in the church shall rebel against the revealing of the Truth. They shall seek to deceive many who will be escaping from their denominations. In their rebellion and stubbornness, they shall reject the revealed Word of Jehovah just as Saul did.

(1 Sam 15:23 KJV) For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

We are not to fear religious man…nor obey his voice…his false teachings that will try to bring us back into their bondage. Remember what happened to King Saul…he was rejected for rejecting the Word of Jehovah. He “feared the people and obeyed their voice” instead.

24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.
25 Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD.
26 And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.

For it will be impossible for those who will be ONCE enlightened to His revealed good Word in this last day to renew them again unto repentance because they will have “fallen away”….back to man’s lifeless religion…..by hearing and obeying the voice of deceptive preachers.

(Heb 6:4 KJV) For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Those people who will receive the love of the Truth into their hearts and bring forth true fruits of righteousness shall receive His blessing.

7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:

Those who will reject the revealed Word of God shall be rejected….just like Saul. We are not to “fear the people” who will preach their deceptions in this last day. We are not to obey their voice. They will seek to forbid their congregations from receiving the “meat” of the revealed Truth that SHOULD BE RECEIVED with thanksgiving.

8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

Although some will hear and receive the revealed Word with joy, they will fall away because of the temptation of false teachers who will allure them back with their great, swelling words into man’s religious bondage.

(Luke 8:13 KJV) They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

They shall be beguiled like the woman in the garden of Eden who had listened to the serpent. Their “poison is like a poison of a serpent” = their false teachings. The “wicked” shall come saying that they are the true teachers of Jesus…that they are anointed with the Spirit of Truth…that they are “Christ.” All of this will be done in the time of the revelation of the Truth.

(2 Cor 11:3 KJV) But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Those false prophets who shall arise will preach another Jesus.

4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

They shall hold themselves in high regard….the very “chiefest apostles”….super apostles. They will be the “man of sin” who shall exalt himself over all of the teachings of the full knowledge of God.

5 For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.

We are to remember the words of Jesus who has forewarned us about their arrival in this coming time of the revealing of the Truth. They shall show great deceiving signs and wonders….their church growth…their growing church riches…their prosperity. “Gain is godliness” “peace and safety”….their preaching will be as they will preach another Jesus.

(Mat 24:24 KJV) For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.

And we have to remember what God had told His people through Moses about the false prophets that shall arise AMONG us….

(Deu 13:1 KJV) If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,

They will deceive many with their preaching of another Jesus.... "let us go after other gods..."

2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;

We are not to hear the words of those false prophets….those dreamer of dreams. We are to love our God with all of our hearts. We are to love His interpretation of the Scripture of Truth with all of our hearts….and not let false prophets deceive us with their great, swelling words.

3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

We are to walk after Him….follow Him …and fear Him…keeping His commandments and obeying His voice….in these last days.

4 Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

His Word of Truth shall set us free…free from the “house of bondage”…from the worship houses of man-based religions. They will seek to allure us back into these houses of bondage with their smooth words and wonderful prosperity. They will want to “thrust” us out of the true Way of righteousness.

5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.

But some shall fear the false teachings of false prophets more than God’s revealed teaching. They shall fear the wrath of religious man more than God. We are to cease from religious man….the angry, prideful religious teacher who will be full of wrath (whose breath is in his nostrils) when he will hear the Truth.

(Isa 2:22 KJV) Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?

We are to cease from hearing the wicked’s “instruction” that will cause some to err from the Words of His heavenly knowledge in the time of the temptation by false prophets. Their words will be like the poison of a serpent.

(Prov 19:27 KJV) Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.

The wicked shall also be united against the revealing of the Truth….joined “hand-in-hand" as the "man of sin." But the wicked shall not go unpunished for their rebellion.

(Prov 11:21 KJV) Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.

Their own iniquities shall take them. They shall go astray in the “greatness of his folly.”

(Prov 5:22 KJV) His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.
23 He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

Good words Wheeler!... the last four posts.

We are commanded to 'Come out of her, My people!' Come out of Babylon... the established, Institutional Church. And cease to hear her teachings anymore. It IS poison, pure and simple.

On the contrary, Jesus would be the one who was orthodox; conforming to accepted rules and standards of God. It would be the unorthodox Pharisees, etc. who would be the unorthodox ascribing to the doctrines of men.

Hi gort,

I like the name…from one of my favorite science fiction movies!

Yes, to those who know the Truth, Jesus is the only, truly “orthodox” One…..agreed.

But to the rest of the religious world….the religious leaders and thinkers…he wasn’t “orthodox” according to THEIR erroneous generally accepted rules and standards. The “wise in the world” of the day were the Jewish leaders of the people of God. They were wise in their own eyes. Think how prevalent their own religious wisdom dominated every aspect of every one’s religious lives. Their doctrines and commandments ruled the day so to speak. They were the “orthodox” ones because their ways and practices were the norm. Jesus came to preach the Truth to them…that the norm was wrong. They worshipped God in vain with their own religious wisdom. The herd mentality was wrong and is wrong today. Buy when everyone is selling.

(1 Cor 3:18 KJV) Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

The wisdom of this “world” is foolishness. “World” = “orderly arrangement.” Man’s norm…his religious orderly arrangement….. is foolishness with God. The same goes for today. Nothing has changed. Man’s religious organizations have been formed and are continued in religious man’s earthly wisdom….not based on the heavenly Truth.

19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

Let no man glory in men....man's religious establishments.

21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;

The churches have received the foolishness of this world…the vain conversation received by tradition from the church fathers. Jesus Christ….the Truth….sets us free from the “orthodoxy” of men….the norm that was established by previous men. The religious fathers have passed down their doctrines and practices throughout the generations. They have become “orthodox” among men. The “fathers” have missed the mark of the Truth…..and so have the “children.”

(1 Pet 1:18 KJV) Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

The “sins” of the fathers…their missing of the mark of the Truth…..have been passed down.

(Jer 32:18 KJV) Thou showest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name,

Like Saul/Paul…..many have been zealous of the traditions of the church fathers.

(Gal 1:14 KJV) And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

And like Paul, our God will also call us by His grace. He will call us out of Babylon….our “mother’s womb.” He will call us out by His “unorthodox” preaching of the revealed Truth. It will only seem “unorthodox” to the religious establishments....just as it seemed that way 2000 years ago. He shall open up our understanding to the Scriptures.

15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

He shall reveal His Son in us….the Truth. Jesus is THE TRUTH…the Way…and the Life. Flesh and blood religious man’s teachings are not that Truth from above. We will not confer with the religious establishments of man because the Spirit of Truth shall show us all the hidden mysteries of the Bible. We will not need for religious man to approve.

16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

We are to confess our sins…..and the sins of our fathers. Religious organized man has been and is wrong. He has totally missed the mark of the Truth….falling short of the glory of God.

(Lev 26:40 KJV) If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;

We have to accept that the state of the churches….the divisions, the strife, the envy…has been because of the judgment of God. We are to love His judgments…and accept it.

41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

We are not redeemed by man’s earthly wisdom of the Scriptures….his doctrines…his commandments of men…his church organizations. The revealing of the Truth in this last day sets us free from all of that….true freedom from the bondage of man’s “wisdom.” We are to be set free from man’s religious houses of bondage….and to assemble in the Truth.

Hi Tavita,

Indeed….we are to come out of Babylon! Amen!

“Babylon” = “confusion”….and we are to come out of man’s confusion over the Bible. Man has formed his denominations…his religious establishments…his doctrines and commandments of men in his own wisdom which is confusion. Man’s religious wisdom is not from above but from below…earthy. Where there is envying and strife…in man’s denominations….there is “confusion”….there is BABYLON.

(James 3:16 KJV) For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

In His wisdom from above, we are to produce fruits of righteousness...sown in PEACE.

18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Religious man’s fighting and wars…his denominations…are a result of his own lusts: grand churches, great ministries, glory among men, church riches, power, etc.

4:1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?

Religious man has done his own labor…for a spiritual six days. Six is the number for man. Man has worked his own religious works in his own earthly wisdom. This was planned by God. We have done our OWN work.... "THY work"....and NOT His.

(Exo 20:9 KJV) Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

But in the spiritual “seventh day”…the Day of the revelation of the Truth, we are to cease from our own “works” of “righteousness.” We are to enter into His rest.

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

He shall mercifully save us from our own “works of righteousness” which we have done in our denominations. Our own religious works are really works of darkness....works of religious man's ignorance of the Scripture of Truth. He shall wash us in the regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit. Religious man’s works do not save us.

(Titus 3:5 KJV) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

We are to “awake out of sleep” and cast off the works of darkness of religious men…..in their envying and strife. The Day is at hand...we are to KNOW the time.

(Rom 13:11 KJV) And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

Religious man’s works are done in “drunkenness”….which is spiritually covetousness. Religious man’s ways are done in strife and envying each other…over who is approved of God…who is the greatest.

13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Like the disciples of Jesus once did, religious man has strife about who is accounted the greatest. Religious man wars over who is the greatest…who is the correct church denomination…who has the correct teachings…who is the most righteous….who is approved of God, etc.

(Luke 22:24 KJV) And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.
25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.
26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

We are to cast off the works of religious man and do His true works of righteousness. Jesus did works of righteousness on the “Sabbath.” We are to keep His spiritual Sabbath….not literally speaking. We are to preach His Truth on the “seventh” Day of revelation. We are to “heal” the spiritually sick and diseased by preaching His Truth….Jesus Christ.

(Mark 3:2 KJV) And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.
3 And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.

We are to do His true works on the spiritual Sabbath Day….in in the Day of days…the Age of ages. We are to preach His Truth to save lives.

4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.

We are to “pluck the ears of corn”….preach the hidden Scripture of Truth…so that others may “eat” of it and LIVE. We are to feed the spiritually hungry. We are to do good on the spiritual seventh Day.

(Mark 2:23 KJV) And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.
24 And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?
25 And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
26 How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the showbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

We are to feed the spiritually hungry….His people. We are to feed His sheep the revealed Truth so that they may have true Life. "Feed my sheep."

(Mat 25:34 KJV) Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

We are to “clothe” the people of God with true works of righteousness that can be done with the preaching of His knowledge. We are to help the “sick”…who are living in denominational envy, strife and hatred. We are to visit those who are in “prison”…the prison of man’s religious bondage. The preaching of the Truth shall set them free from Babylon.

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Religious man has worked his “six days.” He has built his denominations…his religious empires…his doctrines…his commandments….his rules and regulations. He has placed his heavy burdens upon the people of the churches. Religious man’s works are only works of darkness…and do not profit those who are enslaved by them. The works are done in the wisdom of man…whose wisdom is from below….earthly But the time comes when our Father opens up His Word for our understanding….and then can man be set free from religious man’s heavy, burdensome religious works. The revealing of the Truth shall set us free. His heavenly knowledge shall set us free from man’s burdens. We are to cease from our own labors and enter into His rest. The number of man is “six.” Man’s works = “six days.”

(Exo 20:9 KJV) Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

The seventh day is the day of the revelation of the Truth by which we can be set free from religious man’s heavy burdens.

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

We are to cease from our own works…the works of religious man…and enter into His rest.

(Heb 4:10 KJV) For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Christ Jesus comes to open up the Scriptures for our understanding…so that we may the true Way…the Life and the Truth. We are to believe in His revealed interpretation.

(Mat 11:27 KJV) All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

All those who labor and are heavy laden by man’s commandments and doctrines are to come to him…in the revealing of the Truth….and he shall give us rest.

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

We are to “learn” of him. His Scripture of Truth is what we are to learn….we shall find rest unto our souls.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

His yoke is easy and his burden is light….as compared to religious man’s heavy demands….burdensome doctrines and commandments of men.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

We are to enter into His rest on the spiritual Sabbath day…by which we will eat of the Truth that shall satisfy our spiritual hunger and thirst. We are to learn of Him…be disciples….learners…pupils of the Truth.

12:1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.

With the preaching of the Truth, we are to let the “oppressed” of the churches go free from religious man’s bondage of doctrines and commandments. We are to break every yoke of man’s religious chains.

(Isa 58:6 KJV) Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

We do this by preaching His Word of Truth in the time of revelation of the hidden mysteries of the Scriptures. We are to deal the Bread of the Truth to the hungry.

7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.

Religious man’s works…his denominations...his commandments…his doctrines…are all works of darkness…works of earthly wisdom and not heavenly wisdom.

(Rom 13:11 KJV) And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

The church has been living in the “night” season….in the day of “adversity”….where no man has been doing the righteous works of God. The churches have been doing the works of the old earthly, religious man whose works are corrupt.

(John 9:4 KJV) I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

We have been living in the “day of adversity” when men have been ruling over the churches in their earthly minds…..enslaving the people in their grievous works, doctrines and commandments. It has been “night” and many in the church are “asleep.” But the “day of prosperity” is coming. The Day is coming for man to be set free from the burdens done under the sun of the day of adversity.

(Eccl 7:14 KJV) In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.

The churches have been living in a time when error comes forth from the rulers…the pastors, preachers, reverends, priests. They have interpreted the Scriptures in error….all for their own gain “under the sun” of the day of adversity.

(Eccl 10:5 KJV) There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler:

The churches have been living in a time when man’s religious folly is in great dignity…..

6 Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place.

The churches have been living in a time when “servants are upon horses.” Hireling pastors have ruled the churches under the sun of the day of adversity.

7 I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.

But the King comes to give us the Bread of Truth…the Meat of the revealed Truth…in due season. He comes to open up the Scriptures for our understanding so that we may be set free from man’s bondage of the day of adversity. We are to eat of the Truth for our spiritual strength…on not feed on covetousness….the “drunkenness” of religious powers in high places.

(Eccl 10:17 KJV) Blessed art thou, O land, when thy king is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness!

Will those pastors of His flock let His people go…will they feed His flock with the revealed Truth in due season? Or will they be like the king of Egypt and want to keep the people in bondage to religious man’s doctrines and commandments?

(Exo 5:4 KJV) And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens.

There will be those pastors who will forbid their congregations from receiving the meat of the Truth. The revealing of the Truth…Christ Jesus…shall set us free from religious man’s bondage. We are to rest from our burdens….and enter into His rest. Those who are heavy laden are to come to Him. We are to cease from our own “works of righteousness”…and do His true works instead.

5 And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and ye make them rest from their burdens.

Blessed is the servant…that pastor of the church…who will feed His sheep the revealed Truth in “due season.”

(Mat 24:45 KJV) Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

But woe unto those pastors who will eat and drink in their covetousness…who will not regard the Truth in their unbelief.

49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The covetous pastors…the “drunken”….will not receive the love of the Truth. They will not believe in the Truth…and will seek to keep others from it. They will be preaching “peace and safety” in the churches…in direct opposition to the revealing of the Truth.

(1 Th 5:3 KJV) For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Their hearts and ears shall turn from the Father and His revealing of the Truth…to serve another Jesus…to serve the “gods” of the church pastors who will not believe.

(Deu 29:18 KJV) Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;

And they will think that they shall have “peace and safety” to willfully continue after their covetous imaginations…..the lusts of their own hearts. They will scoff at the Truth and continue in their covetous ways and thoughts in the face of the revealing of the Truth.

19 And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
20 The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.

We are to cease from our labors….our covetous religious labors….building grand church buildings, great ministries…all those “wonderful works” that we supposedly do in His name. We are to cease from our own wisdom….our own interpretations of the Scriptures. All that is built upon man’s religious errors is to be destroyed in the end.

(Prov 23:4 KJV) Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.

His revealed Word is right….man’s interpretation is unjust and full of error. Jehovah’s works are done in Truth…while man’s are done in “darkness”…without the heavenly knowledge of the Truth.

(Psa 33:4 KJV) For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.

Religious man must deny himself….his own religious wisdom and works…in order to follow Him….the revealed Truth. He is commanded to cease from his heavy labors and enter into His rest.

(Mat 16:24 KJV) Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

What profit is there for religious man to willfully go on doing his church routines in his stubborn mind in direct opposition to the revealing of the Truth and yet lose his soul? What good will all those “wonderful works” do in the end? The “old man” soul will be destroyed involuntarily for those who will not crucify him willfully for the Truth. We are to deny our “lives”…the religious old man soul.

26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Every man will be rewarded according to his works….either for the Truth…or against it.

27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

We are to put off the “old man” of religion with his deeds…his works and labors. The “six days” are nearly over…and the seventh day is arriving.

(Col 3:9 KJV) Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

And we are to put on the “new man” of Christ Jesus which is RENEWED in the FULL knowledge of God. …in the opening up of the Scripture of Truth. The “new man” is created on the “sixth day”…the end day of man’s labors. He is to be created in the image of Him. And so let us enter into His rest…the “seventh day” and rest from the old man’s deeds.

10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

If any man be in Christ…the anointing of the Truth…he becomes a “new creation.”

(2 Cor 5:17 KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The Light of the knowledge of the glory of God shall shine in the darkness of our hearts in the revealing of the Truth.

(2 Cor 4:6 KJV) For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

With His knowledge, our hearts can bring forth fruits of His righteousness. The heart of the “earth” can bring forth Truth, peace, love joy, life.

(Gen 1:11 KJV) And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

The heart can bring forth true fruits of righteousness when His knowledge shall shine into the darkness of our hearts. His wisdom is the “tree” that yields the fruits of righteousness.

12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

His heavenly wisdom within our hearts is true Life…and we are to retain that tree within us…and bear fruits of righteousness.

(Prov 3:18 KJV) She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

With His Light, Truth shall spring out of the “earth”…out of our hearts….and His righteousness shall “look down from heaven.”

(Psa 85:11 KJV) Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

We are to keep His words in our hearts…. “And God said….”

(Prov 4:20 KJV) My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

We shall behold His “face in righteousness”…His knowledge shall be revealed by the opening up of the Scripture of Truth…. “let there be Light.” We shall “awake to righteousness” and become like Him…created in His image...as a new creation. We are to awake and cast off the works of darkness and enter into His rest.

(Psa 17:15 KJV) As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

Religious man’s heart has become without form and void. He needs RENEWED in the Spirit of Truth.

(Rom 1:21 KJV) Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

The earth BECAME (Hebrew: hayah)without form and void. Man’s hearts have become without form and void.

(Gen 1:2 KJV) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

But the Light of Christ Jesus shall shine in the dark place….our hearts.

3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Religious man is foolish….he has no heavenly understanding. He has been wise to do evil and has no knowledge to do good. All have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God.

(Jer 4:22 KJV) For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

Religious man’s heart has become without form and void. Just like before the flood, the wickedness of man was great in the “earth”…..for every imagination of the thoughts of his HEART was only evil.

(Gen 6:5 KJV) And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

It grieved Him at His HEART.

6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

But we can find grace in the “eyes” of Jehovah….in His opened KNOWLEDGE of the Truth. We can enter into His rest. “Noah” means “rest.” By His grace we are saved from religious man’s errors.

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

The Light will shine in a “dark place”….our hearts. We can then be renewed in His Spirit…a new creation….a new man created in His image…Christ Jesus.

(2 Pet 1:19 KJV) We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

We are to put off the former behavior of the “old man” of religion…his envying…his striving of words that do not profit...his divisions…his doctrines and commandments. We are to put on the “new man” that is created in the image of Him……Christ Jesus. We are to be a new creation….the “old man” and his religious organizations shall pass away. The “old things” of religious man shall become obsolete to those who will receive the knowledge of the Truth and be saved.

(2 Cor 5:17 KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The Lord comes to open up the Scripture of Truth for our understanding. And by His revealed knowledge, we can be RENEWED in the Spirit of our minds. We are to hear Him in this last day. We are to sit at His “feet” and hear the Word of Truth being taught by Him.

(Eph 4:21 KJV) If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:

The old man of religion is corrupt according to deceitful lusts.

22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

We are to be RENEWED in the Spirit of our minds.

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

The “new man” is created in true righteousness and TRUE holiness….as compared to the old man’s deceitful “works of righteousness.”

24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

The heart of religious man has BECAME “without form and void”….. vain and empty.

(Gen 1:2 KJV) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The heart of religious man has become that way because he has not judged for his evil works in the church. He has not be judged according to his sins.

(Eccl 8:11 KJV) Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

Jehovah is merciful and gracious and slow to anger.

(Psa 103:8 KJV) The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

He has not dealt with us as our sins deserve. He has not rewarded us according to our iniquities.

10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

We are forgiven…for we know NOT what we do. We have not His heavenly knowledge to know our right hand from our left.

(Luke 23:34 KJV) Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

All of religious man’s sins are forgiven…all of his erroneous preaching, doctrines and commandments….for he knows not what he does.

(Mark 3:28 KJV) Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

But the Spirit of Truth comes to reveal all the hidden things to us…and we are to hear what the Spirit says and NOT speak against the revealing of the Truth.

29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

Jesus is our high priest…our sacrifice…for our sins of IGNORANCE. We do not have the “knowledge of the congregation”…the heavenly knowledge of the Scriptures as interpreted through God. All of our denominational misinterpretations….the missing of the mark…are in ignorance of the Scripture of Truth.

(Num 15:24 KJV) Then it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto the LORD, with his meat offering, and his drink offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering.
25 And the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, for their ignorance:
26 And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance.
27 And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.
28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sinneth ignorantly, when he sinneth by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.

But like before the flood, many hearts in the churches have become corrupt today. “And the earth was filled with violence”…..in other words….the hearts of men have been filled with hate of one another, wrath, envy and strife.

(Gen 6:11 KJV) The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

The earth was filled with violence….hatred, envy and strife. This is the “fullness of the Gentiles”….when they have completely corrupted their hearts after the lusts of the old man. We need to be RENEWED….REGENERATED...in the times of REFRESHING. It is the fullness of the corruption of the old man of religion that is to be completed before ALL Israel (both Jews and Gentiles) is completely saved from their sins.

(Rom 11:25 KJV) For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Jacob = 12 tribes….ALL Israel…both Jews and Gentiles are to be turned away from ungodliness….when the fullness of the Gentiles sins have come in….the “earth” of man’s hearts are filled with violence….hatred, envy and strife.

26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

The “iniquity of the Amorites” must be filled….the iniquity of the “prominent” leaders of the churches…for error goes out from them. Then all shall come "hither" again.

(Gen 15:16 KJV) But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

The religious old man becomes completely foolish…. “ the earth becomes without form and void”….disobedient, deceived, serving many lusts and pleasures, living in malice, envy, hateful, hating one another. The hearts of religious men become completely corrupt in his own ways = the fullness of the Gentiles. Yet, we have not received as our sins have deserved.

(Titus 3:3 KJV) For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

But the kindness and love of God our Savior shall appear unto man . His knowledge comes so that we may put off the old man of religion who is corrupt.

4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

We are to be saved by His mercy….by the washing of the REGENERATION….the “re-creation” of man’s hearts in Christ Jesus…the Truth, the Way and the Life.

5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Religious man is to see the Light…to hear the revealed heavenly knowledge of the Truth…and “repent”…to change his mind. He is to change his own mind that is corrupt and put on the mind of Christ….the Truth. Religious man is the one who needs to repent and be converted. Did not John the Baptist also preach repentance to the “religious?” Was it not the religious people of God who were to repent? Nothing has changed. The times of refreshing…the regeneration…the renewing…is coming from the presence of the Lord. We are to hear His voice today and obey.

(Acts 3:19 KJV) Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

He shall send Jesus Christ….the Truth...so that we may be RENEWED in the mind of Christ.

20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

The times of the restitution of all things is coming. We are to become a new creation in the Truth…a new man made in the image of Him.

21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

We are to hear and obey the Spirit of the Truth. We are not to speak against the Truth in order to keep the old man of religion’s ways and practices. The old man is completely corrupt.

(Mat 12:35 KJV) A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

For by our words FOR the Truth shall we be justified and by our words AGAINST the Truth shall we be judged.

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

The revealing of the Truth shall reveal what is truly in the hearts of men. Those who will resist and oppose in their religious pride shall fall. They shall fall because they will have spoken against the Truth in their prideful, stubborn unbelief.

(Luke 2:34 KJV) And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

The thoughts of many hearts shall be revealed by the revealing of the Truth...Christ Jesus.

35 (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.

The revealed Word of God shall be quick and powerful for those who will not believe in the revealing of the knowledge of the Truth. It is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart….for religious man shall reveal what is in his heart by how he will respond to the unveiling of the Truth. How will he respond? With love for the Truth or with hatred?

(Heb 4:11 KJV) Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

The revealed Word of God will divide asunder the soul and spirit.

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Jehovah shall search the heart. He shall know what is in man’s hearts. The revealing of the Scripture of Truth shall reveal what is in man’s heart by how he responds to the Truth…..and He will give every man according to his ways…whether they be for the Truth or against the Truth.

(Jer 17:9 KJV) The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

And the soul who shall sin willfully in the face of the knowledge of the Truth shall be cut off. The soul of the old man shall be cut off….and shall perish in his own wickedness....the "lake of fire."

(Num 15:30 KJV) But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
31 Because he hath despised the word of the LORD, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.

For if we sin willfully AFTER we have received the full knowledge of the Truth, there shall no longer be any sacrifice. Before....we were in ignorance of the Truth.

(Heb 10:26 KJV) For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

His own iniquity shall be upon his head....the lake of fire.

27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Their old man soul shall be delivered to Satan so that they may learn…the hard way…not to blaspheme…evil speaking…. against the Spirit of Truth. The old man soul shall perish in his own corruption.

(1 Tim 1:20 KJV) Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.

The old man soul shall be delivered to Satan for the destruction of the flesh…the body of sin….the old man. Unfortunately, some in the church will not sacrificially crucify their old man souls…but will seek to keep him after the hearing of the revealed Truth. That soul…the old man soul…shall die…the hard way. Their own wickedness shall correct them as punishment.

(1 Cor 5:4 KJV) In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

They are to be delivered unto Satan for the destruction of their body of sin…the old man shall be humbled…destroyed. They will be given over to a reprobate mind to be filled will all unrighteousness….which their pain and anguish shall come from. Every knee shall bow before the Lord.

(Rom 1:28 KJV) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Jesus is THE Truth who comes. He is the revealed Word of God who we are to hear preaching in this last day. We are to believe in what we hear the Spirit of Truth saying. The Word of God is to be opened up for our understanding in the mind of Christ. It will be quick and powerful….piercing…even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit. And what exactly is the “soul?” It is the thoughts of the heart of each man. Man’s actions…his life…are based on the thoughts of his own heart.

(Heb 4:12 KJV) For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

In this last day, there shall be those of the church who shall rise up in their pride against the revealing of the Truth. They will speak against it after the erroneous thoughts of their own hearts. What is in the heart comes out of the mouth….and religious man’s blasphemies is what will defile him. Christ Jesus is the Truth who shall be either received with love or spoken against by many in the churches.

(Luke 2:34 KJV) And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

For the revealed Word of God is quick and powerful……piercing the soul…so that the thoughts of many hearts shall be revealed. The “soul” = the thoughts of the heart by which man speaks and breathes by.

35 (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.

The opened Scripture of Truth shall be a swift witness against those in the churches who will continue to preach falsehoods to their congregations. It will be a swift witness against those who will continue pursue the covetousness of their own hearts…. The “adulterers.” It will be a swift witness against those “false swearers” who profess they know God but will deny Him with their works. It will be a swift witness against those who will NOT preach the revealed Truth to the poor of the flock of God…..oppressing the hireling in his wages…the spiritual widows…the spiritual fatherless.

(Mal 3:5 KJV) And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

The old religious man’s soul….the thoughts of his heart….has become evil continually in this last day…just like in the day of Noah.

(Gen 6:5 KJV) And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

But the counsel of Jehovah shall stand in this Age of ages…the “for ever”…..in the Age of the revelation of the Truth. His knowledge will be revealed in the Scripture of Truth…..and we are to hear and obey Him. The thoughts of Jehovah are higher than our thoughts.

(Psa 33:11 KJV) The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

We are to put off our own thoughts and ways….our own old man soul….and put on the new man…Christ Jesus. His thoughts and ways are higher than ours. We are to lose our own “souls”….our own thoughts and ways….for His thoughts and ways.

(Isa 55:7 KJV) Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

For His thoughts are NOT our thoughts.

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

His ways and thoughts are HIGHER than the old religious man’s earthly thoughts.

9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

For the thoughts of man are vanity. His worship…his doctrines…his commandments….all works of vanity that come from the thoughts of the heart of man.

(Psa 94:11 KJV) The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

How precious are His thoughts over ours.

(Psa 139:17 KJV) How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

In this coming time of the revelation of the Truth, we are not to put our trust in man’s thoughts. We are not to trust in our pastors’ thoughts…the “princes”….who will not let the Truth rule over their own thoughts of the heart. There will be those who will despise His government over their hearts.

(Psa 146:3 KJV) Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

For their thoughts shall perish….their “soul” shall perish. His own words (his breath) shall return upon his own heart as punishment. For by our words either for or against the Truth shall we be judged. The words that will come out of our mouths come from the thoughts of our hearts….our souls...and these things shall defile the unbelievers of the Truth.

4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

Those that will not hear the Truth and reject it shall receive the “fruit of their thoughts.”

(Jer 6:18 KJV) Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them.
19 Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.

Their sacrifices…like Cain’s…shall not be respected. Their grand church buildings, their great ministries, their religious merchandise, the honor of their lips….shall not be acceptable….because their hearts shall be far from Him.

20 To what purpose cometh there to me incense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me.

Like the Pharisees, they shall think evil in their hearts against the Truth. The revealed Word of God….Christ Jesus…shall know their thoughts by their negative reactions to the Truth. .

(Mat 9:4 KJV) And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

The Truth shall reveal the thoughts of the hearts of those who will resist the Truth.

(Mat 12:24 KJV) But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

The preaching of the Truth shall reveal what is in the hearts of men….for those things that proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart…from the thoughts of the heart…from the “soul.”

(Mat 15:18 KJV) But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Their expectations….the thoughts of their hearts….their soul…shall perish,

(Prov 10:28 KJV) The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

His soul shall perish….his expectation shall perish…the thoughts of his heart shall perish.

(Prov 11:7 KJV) When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.

The knowledge of wisdom…as revealed in the Scripture of Truth…is sweet to the taste….like honey.

(Prov 24:13 KJV) My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste:

It will be sweet to our souls….and our expectation shall not be cut off.

14 So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

The “expectation” = the thoughts (musing) of the heart = the “soul.”

(Luke 3:15 KJV) And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not;

All those who will speak against the revealing of the Truth….that is, to SIN….shall have wronged their own souls.

(Prov 8:36 KJV) But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

He that will refuse the instruction of the revealing of the Truth will have despised his own soul. We are to receive His higher thoughts over our own. His “soul” should be ours.

(Prov 15:32 KJV) He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof getteth understanding.

We are to lose our “life”…which is the word “soul.” We are to lose our own thoughts of our own religious hearts by which we have all lived by. We are to find our true “soul”…Christ Jesus. We are to have the mind of Christ….His thoughts and ways which are higher. We are to destroy our own thoughts and ways for His. "life" = "SOUL"

(Mat 16:25 KJV) For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

What gain is there in losing our own true soul….Christ Jesus. What will man give in exchange for his soul? Our “soul” should be the new man…Christ Jesus.

26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

There will be those men in the churches who shall rise up in their religious, denominational pride to oppose the revealing of the Truth. They will despise His government over their hearts. They will be self-willed…hard- hearted…..and they will not be afraid to speak evil of the Truth and those who will do it. As “beasts” they shall walk after their own fleshly thinking in the lust of uncleanness that is in their own hearts.

(2 Pet 2:10 KJV) But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

They shall prove themselves as beasts in the revealing of the Truth. Their souls shall perish like the beasts….in their own corruption.

12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

The revealing of the Scripture of Truth by Jehovah shall form them. The Truth …Christ Jesus….the last Adam….shall name them by their reactions to the revelation. Those who will believe in the Truth are the true “help meet” for Him…..bone of his bones, flesh of his flesh. The pure, believing church is the bride of Him.

(Gen 2:19 KJV) And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

Some men shall be serpents....a brood of vipers….not believing in the revealing of the Truth…and being wise in their own eyes. They will preach falsehoods to deceive those who are escaping from them.

(Mat 23:33 KJV) Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Some men shall prove to be dogs…..and sows….because they will turn from hearing the Truth going back to the corruptions of the religious man. They shall give heed to seducing teachings of religious man...the "serpents."

(2 Pet 2:21 KJV) For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Men shall be unclean, hateful birds….caught in the deceptive preaching of the unbelieving in the church in the last time….the “cage.”

(Rev 18:2 KJV) And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

Their “inward thought” is that things will continue as they always have…..their religious honor and glory shall continue.

(Psa 49:11 KJV) Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.

But like the beasts, their inward thoughts…..the thoughts of their hearts…their souls…shall perish.

12 Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
13 This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.

Religious man who is in honor and understands not the revelation of the Truth will be like the beasts that perish.

(Psa 49:18 KJV) Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself.
19 He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.
20 Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.

Let us remember what had happened to king Nebuchadnezzar so that we may not repeat his error.

(Dan 4:24 KJV) This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the king:

Man who is in honor and understands not the counsel…shall perish as the beasts. Every knee show bow before Him…either voluntarily…or the hard way as Nebuchadnezzar shows us.

25 That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
26 And whereas they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots; thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee, after that thou shalt have known that the heavens do rule.

Let religious man who is in honor hear the “counsel”….to break off your sins by righteousness. Show mercy to the “poor”…preach the revealed Truth. Repent...change the mind.

27 Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by showing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.
28 All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar.
29 At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon.

But instead of heeding to the counsel of the Judge….the meaning of “Daniel”….he rises up in his pride. Religious man shall do likewise in this last day. What comes out of the mouth comes from within….the thoughts of the heart…the “soul.”

30 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?

The religious pride of man comes before the great fall.

31 While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.

If the "soul"...the inward thought of religious man...will abhor His judgments so that they will not heed His commandments....

(Lev 26:15 KJV) And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:
16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.
18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

the pride of religious man shall be broken. Every knee shall bow.

19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:
20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.
21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

All of religious man’s works done under the sun of the day of adversity are vanity and “vexation of spirit.”

(Eccl 1:14 KJV) I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.

It has been the “day of adversity” for the church…..a “day” in which folly is high dignity among religious men…..a “day” in which the pastors and leaders preach errors…striking the people with the “heat” of their false teachings that beat upon those who listen to them….a “day” in which they work works of vanity.

(Eccl 7:14 KJV) In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.

The works of religious man are works of darkness…done without the heavenly wisdom and knowledge of God. They are earthly works…done with the earthly wisdom that is from below. The churches are divided up because of envying and strife….brought on by the earthly wisdom of man.

(James 3:14 KJV) But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

When religious man lives in envy and strife, there is confusion (Babylon) and every evil work….works of vanity and vexation of Spirit. .

16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

But it was all planned…for the eventual displaying of the glory of God in due season…..the “day of prosperity.” To EVERY THING there is a season and a time to EVERY purpose under the heaven. Religious man has been living in the “night season”….in the “day of adversity” in which he has lived and worked his own works with the fleshly, earthly mind.

(Eccl 3:1 KJV) To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

(Eccl 3:10 KJV) I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

Many in the churches have been like the men of “Athens”…..who is the goddess of wisdom. They ignorantly worship God with the works of their own hands….using their own wisdom that they highly esteem.

(Acts 17:22 KJV) Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.

Many in the churches know not what they worship…..they ignorantly worship. They need to have Him declared to them....by the preaching of the Word of Truth.

23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.

God does not dwell in the works of religious man’s own hands….

24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

He is not worshiped with religious man’s hands…..religious man’s denominational works that was formed with his own earthly wisdom. He does not need anything that religious man strives after….his great church buildings, his grand ministries, his doctrines and commandments, etc, etc. Many in the churches do not know what they worship.

25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

All these things have been planned by God….all for displaying His glory that is to be revealed. He has determined the times before appointed….for there is a season for every purpose under heaven. He has determined the bounds for religious man to work his works of vanity and vexation of Spirit.

26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

We are His offspring….and not the other way around. God is not the works of our own religious hands. His not like our church thoughts and church ways. His thoughts are not our thoughts. His works are not our works. His wisdom is not our wisdom. He is not the product of denominational, religious man’s works....thoughts and ways.

29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

In the “night season”…in the “day of adversity”…when religious man has worked his works of vanity….works of darkness, God has overlooked these things. He has not punished the thoughts and ways of religious man as he deserves. Religious man is in ignorance….not knowing what he worships. Religious man thinks that worshiping God is in the works of his own hands done in his own wisdom.

30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

He has appointed a day….the “day of prosperity”….in which religious man is expected to “awake” and cast off his denominational works of darkness. A time is coming in which He commands us to repent of our own thoughts and ways. Religious man is to awaken….in the resurrection of the Truth…from his “sleep.” Religious man is expected to “awaken” to His righteousness…His true works of holiness. There is a time and purpose for everything. Christ Jesus is the Truth that is ordained to save us.

31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

But there will be men in the churches who will mock when they will hear the Truth of the matter. They will NOT believe. They will think they have the revelation of the Truth already….they will think that their thoughts and ways are truly His thoughts and ways. They will seek to keep their own religious works.

32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.

Some religious men shall err concerning the Truth….they will preach that they have the Truth already in their particular church teachings and commandments. They will think the “resurrection is PAST”….that they have the full revealing of the Truth and there is no further revelation. They will overthrow the belief of some who will hear the Truth in this last day.

(2 Tim 2:18 KJV) Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

Like Cain, they shall be “wroth” when they will hear that the fruit of their works is not respected by God. The religious man’s fruit of his own covetous heart will not be respected in the time of the revelation of the Truth….. “in the process of time it came to pass.” For there is a time and purpose for everything…..His revealing of the Truth comes at the appointed time.

(Gen 4:3 KJV) And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

Many shall be very wroth when they will hear that all of their religious works…their denominations…their commandments….their teachings…..are all in vain….a vexation of the Spirit….a grasping after the Spirit.

5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

But religious man is instructed to do well toward the Truth…to receive it with love and belief. To DO the Truth…. “doest well.” Religious man must NOT MOCK when he hears it. Sin lies at the door of religious man’s mouth…he must not mock, defame, rail against, blaspheme against the revealing of God’s Truth. Religious man must OVERCOME his desire to speak out against the Truth. He must rule over the sin...the willful speaking out against the Truth.

7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Those that will hear the Truth….the preaching of the Spirit of Truth are to overcome so that they may have the right to eat of the tree of life. The tree of life is His wisdom as revealed in the Scripture of Truth.

(Rev 2:7 KJV) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Those that can overcome their desire to speak out against the revealing of the Truth, shall not be hurt of the “second death.” We are to sacrificially crucify the “soul” of the old man voluntarily. We are to sacrifice our own thoughts and ways for His thoughts and ways. Those who will not…..will have their old man soul destroyed involuntarily (the second death)… by their own wickedness. Their own wickedness shall correct them….a painful…hurtful process. They shall be ashamed.

(Rev 2:11 KJV) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Those that can overcome sin which will lie at the door of religious man’s mouth will be able to eat of the hidden manna…the hidden Truth that has been concealed in the Scriptures until the appointed time. If man will not believe, how is he to enter in and understand all the hidden mysteries of the Scriptures?

(Rev 2:17 KJV) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Religious man must be swift to hear His Truth….and slow to speak against it. He must overcome his desire to sin against the Truth…his desire to speak out against the Truth.

(James 1:19 KJV) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

For the wrath of Cain….religious man….works not the righteousness of God. His religion is in vain if he will not bridle his tongue to speak against the Truth.

20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

We are to cast away the things that will seek to have us….our own works of darkness….our own desire to speak against the Truth in order to keep our own thoughts and ways. We are to receive with MEEKNESS the engrafted Word of Truth which is able to save our SOULS. We are to humble ourselves at His revealing of the Truth.

21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

We are to DO His Word of Truth…. “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?”

22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Cain heard the Truth but did not abide in it….he did not DO the Truth. He did not LOVE the Truth nor his brother who did the Truth…who kept the sheep. We are to keep the Truth and the royal command to love one another. We are not to repeat Cain’s error.

(Jude 1:11 KJV) Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

If any man seems to be religious….his fruit of the ground offerings…and bridles not his tongue by speaking out against the Truth but deceives his own heart (I shall have “peace and safety” to continue to follow after the religious lusts of my own heart,) then that man’s religion is in vain. His offerings are not acceptable…his “wonderful works” shall not save him. They shall go out… “depart from me ye workers of iniquity”…and wander in the land of Nod…wandering stars in the darkness.

(James 1:26 KJV) If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

Religious man who shall speak out against the Truth…hearing and not doing it…because of their unbelief shall be ashamed. They will have chosen their own thoughts and ways over His. They will have done evil before His “eyes”….in the face of His revealed knowledge. They will have held down the Truth in unrighteousness….because they shall exalt themselves against it.

(Isa 66:4 KJV) I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

Like Cain, they shall hate the Truth and those who will hear and DO the revealed Truth….the “Abels” of the church who will “keep the sheep”…His Truth…His commandments.

5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompense to his enemies.

For His wrath will be revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who will hold down the revealing of the Truth in unrighteousness.

(Rom 1:18 KJV) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

They will have done evil before His “eyes”…His revealing of the Truth. He shall reveal His knowledge to them…and yet in their unbelief they shall speak out against it.

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Your Random thoughts are good---- But leave behind the Pastorals. (1&2 Timothy and Titus) as they were written C100-150to reflect the developing Catholicism.(unless you are catholic then I ask your forbearance for my presumptuousness)

Paul did not, and in fact, ranted heavily against teaching Judaism to the gentiles.(Even referencing in Philippians the Torah as "Skubala" an explicative meaning "sh*t".) He preached "Christ Crucified" and would appear to a Jew as a Jew, being as thoroughly knowledgeable about Judaism and more so than any Jew He would encounter, but he would appear to the "Greek as a Greek" also being knowledgeable about the gentile religions and showing them how Christ fulfilled their gentile prophesies.

Anyway; you don't have to tailor it for me. I love your Random Thoughts, so don't pay too much attention to me in the peanut gallery.

Hi Soulgazer,

Thank you for considering….and your kind words.

That’s very interesting about the word “skubala"…I didn’t know that. Thanks for pointing that out.

(Phil 3:8 KJV) Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

What I’m thinking is that he wasn’t calling the Torah “skubala”…. but his own works of righteousness that he had received by tradition from "his" fathers . “Mine own righteousness” = “skubala.” “MINE OWN” righteousness….based on the Pharisee’s “interpretation” of the Law…the Torah…the instruction. Man invented his own instruction for following the Law.

9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

I’m thinking that it was his own religious “works of righteousness” that was counted as “dung.” He was very zealous of the traditions of his fathers....the Pharisee fathers that is.

(Gal 1:13 KJV) For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
14 And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

By persecuting the church of God, Saul was not following the law and the prophets….but the traditions of men. Following the Torah = loving one another. Following man’s traditions = persecutions, divisions, envy, strife, hatred, blasphemies, etc.

(Mat 7:12 KJV) Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

The traditions of man…..of the Pharisees….actually did not keep the Torah…

(Mat 15:3 KJV) But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

They had strayed far from the Torah…..

(Mat 15:9 KJV) But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

They had made the Word of God of “none effect” through their tradition. The traditions of religious man = “skubala.”

(Mark 7:13 KJV) Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

Likewise, the church is not saved by their own “works of righteousness”….traditions and commandments of men received by the denominational church fathers. The “silver and gold” = the thoughts and ways of religious man….the works of his own hands. Religious man holds his own wisdom and works in high regards….but it is corruption. They are based on the misinterpretation….the wresting… of the Scriptures. But religious man is in ignorance of the Truth….he knows not what he does. He has to have the “unknown God” declared to him. He has to be told that his “works of righteousness” do not save him. And he is expected to humble himself at this realization….and DO the Truth.

(1 Pet 1:18 KJV) Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

As far as leaving out the Pastoral letters….I can not. They are very relevant today. It is man who has twisted and distorted the letters of Paul. It is man’s erroneous preaching of Paul’s letters that is the “thorn in the flesh.”

(2 Cor 12:7 KJV) And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

His letters have been twisted by religious man in order to persecute the church….putting it in the “prison” of man’s commandments and traditions. It is religious man who thinks with his own wisdom.... "thought with myself"...

(Acts 26:9 KJV) I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
10 Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them.

Religious man has twisted and distorted Paul’s letters in EVERY church….and has misused them in error against the very church of Christ Jesus.

11 And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.
12 Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,

The “letters” are Paul’s epistles that have been misused to persecute and test the church…putting it into a “prison” by Satan’s ministers….. religious, erroneous man.

(Acts 22:5 KJV) As also the high priest doth bear me witness, and all the estate of the elders: from whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damascus, to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished.

(Acts 9:2 KJV) And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

The “unlearned and unstable” religious men have wrested his letters for their own covetousness.

(2 Pet 3:15 KJV) And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

The “unlearned and unstable” ministers have been collectively the “messenger of Satan”…the “thorn in the flesh.” They have been the “mouth of the lion” who has devoured many in the churches with their false preaching.

(1 Pet 5:8 KJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

But the Lord comes to strengthen Paul’s letters in the revealing of the Truth. There are abundant revelations in Paul’s letters that have been hidden because of the twisting and distorting of them. Paul’s letters are to be delivered out of the “mouth of the lion”…out of the mouths of the “unlearned and unstable” men in the church. Through Paul’s letters…..the preaching of the gospel shall be FULLY KNOWN….so that ALL the Gentiles might truly “hear” the revealing of the Truth in this last day.

(2 Tim 4:17 KJV) Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

The Lord shall deliver his epistles from every evil work of religious man. He shall deliver his letters from causing the divisions in the church…the envy and strife and the hatred brought on by religious man’s wresting of them.

18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Even though religious man has twisted and distorted Paul’s letters to the detriment of the church…..his epistles are the “chosen vessel” for the salvation of the church in this last day.

(Acts 9:13 KJV) Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

Indeed Paul has suffered “great things” while he has waited for the receiving of his “sight”….the revelation of the Truth that will shine through his epistles in the interpretation of Christ Jesus.

16 For I will show him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.

His letters shall receive the “sight” of Christ Jesus….the knowledge of God…so that we may fully know the gospel. His letters will be interpreted through the Spirit of Truth….and we are to hear what the Spirit says to the churches that have been in the “prison.”

17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

Paul’s “infirmities” did not cease 2000 years ago….they have persisted even until today because of religious man’s misinterpretations of his letters that cause divisions…envying and strife in the churches.

(2 Cor 12:5 KJV) Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.

His letters will “say the Truth”….the revealed Truth in due season. But…. “now I forbear” so that religious man would not think higher of him. His letters shall glory in the knowledge of Christ Jesus who comes to open up his letters for our FULL understanding. But in the meantime, religious man preaches falsehoods by his misunderstanding of Paul’s epistles.Even so Paul's letters still preaches Christ....even in infirmities.

6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.

His letters will speak the revealed Truth in Christ…..and there is no lie in the Truth. It is religious man who has lied…the “mouth of the lion”…who has devoured many in the church with his falsehoods….all based on the wresting of Paul’s letters and the rest of the Scriptures.

(1 Tim 2:7 KJV) Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

As far as “Titus” and “Timothy”….they are the last-day interpreters of Paul to the churches…the ones who preach Paul’s letters (receiving his sight) through the Spirit of Truth….in the Truth of Christ Jesus. They are the “apostles” to the church….the messengers to the churches…the “angels” of the churches….in this last day. They are the preachers of the Truth.

(2 Cor 8:23 KJV) Whether any do inquire of Titus, he is my partner and fellowhelper concerning you: or our brethren be inquired of, they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ.
24 Wherefore show ye to them, and before the churches, the proof of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf.

Even though Paul’s letters and the rest of the Scriptures have been wrested by the earthly wisdom of religious man……the “troubles on every side”…the fightings of the churches…the fears….

(2 Cor 7:5 KJV) For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears.

...they are comforted by the presence of “Titus”…the preachers of the Scripture of Truth in Christ Jesus....and the warm reception of their preaching of the Truth.

6 Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
7 And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more.

Although Paul’s letters have brought “sorrow” to the church through the wresting of them by earthly-minded religious men….for a “season”…in the “day of adversity”, his letters shall also bring the churches to the “godly sorrow” of repentance for the evil deeds done in ignorance. We are saved by Paul’s letters as preached in the mind of Christ Jesus.

8 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.
9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.
10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

“Timothy”….represents those who will preach Paul’s letters in the Truth of Christ Jesus…. “Achaia” means “trouble”…the trouble the church has experienced in the “day of adversity” because of the misinterpretation of Paul’s letters.

(2 Cor 1:1 KJV) Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:

The “Timothy’s” of this last day are those who are “set at liberty”…truly free in the Spirit of Truth….free from man’s bondage of commandments and traditions. If he shall come to the churches, then Paul shall “see” us….his “sight” will be restored by the proper interpretation of his letters in Christ Jesus. Paul shall receive his "sight" in the preaching of Christ Jesus....the revelation of the hidden Truth.

(Heb 13:23 KJV) Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.

Solomon wrote Ecclesiastes in order to fulfill a requirement of a king who is over Israel…which is found in Deuteronomy. He was to write him a copy of the instruction (Torah = instruction = law) in a book.

(Deu 17:18 KJV) And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:

The “book”….which is the book of Ecclesiastes…. is for the purpose of learning to fear Jehovah our God…….and to keep all the words of the INSTRUCTION…and DO them.

19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:

For that is the conclusion of the whole matter found in Ecclesiastes….FEAR God and KEEP His commandments…..for this is the WHOLE duty of man. Religious man is to DO them.

(Eccl 12:13 KJV) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Solomon was the “Preacher” and king over Israel. The word for “Preacher” means a “female assembler”…for heavenly wisdom is personified as a woman….New Jerusalem from above who is a “mother” to us all. “She” will assemble us together in the Truth in this last day. We are not to forsake others to assemble in the Truth.

(Eccl 1:12 KJV) I the Preacher was king over Israel in Jerusalem.

Solomon sat on the throne and wrote a copy of this law….to FEAR GOD and KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. We have this required writing of the copy-of-the-law “book” today….Ecclesiastes. The “law” or instruction = fear God and keep His commandments.

(Deu 17:18 KJV) And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:

Solomon started all of his “works” under the sun AFTER he had “given” himself unto “wine.” With the “wine”…came FOLLY….. he “laid hold on folly.” Yet, Solomon retained true wisdom in his heart. This is not about literal wine.

(Eccl 2:3 KJV) I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.

The “wine” is covetousness….the “wine of Babylon.” When pastors of the church give themselves over to covetousness in their hearsts….the “wine”…then comes the works of “folly.” Religious man, in his “drunkenness,” has lost his sense of judgment and has built many “great” religious things. He desires power over the churches, glory among men, his own wisdom, grand church buildings, great ministries, endless supplies of religious merchandise to sell to the sheep, etc, etc. The “wine of Babylon” is a “mocker”…..and whoever is deceived by her wine is not wise. Instead, we are to remember Solomon’s wisdom that is wrote down for us: Fear God and keep His commandments.

(Prov 20:1 KJV) Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

It is not for church leaders….the “kings”….to drink the “wine” of Babylon…..covetousness.

(Prov 31:4 KJV) It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:

Lest they drink and forget the instruction…..TO FEAR GOD AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS….AND DO THEM. Religious man who is drunk on covetousness perverts the judgment of the “afflicted” congregation in his control. He leads them astray from true righteousness.

5 Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.

Give “strong drink” to those who will refuse to hear the “Law”…the INSTRUCTION….and be saved. There will be those in the church who will reject the revealing of the Truth (the “new wine”) in this last day….and they shall perish in their own covetousness (the “strong drink”)…in their own corruption. They will be of heavy hearts because they will not be able to hear and DO the instruction….because of their church riches.

6 Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.

Like the rich ruler, there will be those pastors and church leaders who will not be able to DO the instruction…..

(Mat 19:21 KJV) Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

They shall be of a heavy heart…sorrowful….because of their “great possessions” that they will not depart from when they will hear the revealing of the Truth. They will not be able to do the “law”…the instruction…given to them. Instead, they will go “away” after their riches instead of hearing and DOING the Truth. They shall “hear” but not DO.

22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

How hard it be for the rich pastor or church leader to enter into the knowledge of all the mysteries of the kingdom….for his riches shall deceive him. “Gain is godliness”….so they will suppose. For outside shall be those unbelievers of the Truth.

23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

For the turning away of the “simple” shall slay them…..and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. The “wine” of covetousness shall be for those who will perish….because they will not DO His instruction.

(Prov 1:32 KJV) For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

But those who will hear and DO the instruction shall dwell safely.

33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

We are to receive His words….into our hearts.

2:1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;

After Solomon had given himself to “wine” and to lay hold of folly….he started to do works. Religious man has also given himself to the “wine” of covetousness and has also worked the works of his own hands…the “folly.” Only Solomon retained his wisdom…religious man does these things with no heavenly wisdom.

(Eccl 2:3 KJV) I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.

Religious man has made himself GREAT WORKS.... "wonderful works"...seemingly done in His name. Religious man has built himself “houses”…his denominations….he has planted “vineyards”……

4 I made me great works; I builded me houses; I planted me vineyards:
5 I made me gardens and orchards, and I planted trees in them of all kind of fruits:

He has made his teachings of man…his doctrines and commandments of men…. “pools of water.”

6 I made me pools of water, to water therewith the wood that bringeth forth trees:

Religious man has enslaved many in the churches with his false teachings… “servants and maidens”….he has made many “great works” for himself… “wonderful works.”

7 I got me servants and maidens, and had servants born in my house; also I had great possessions of great and small cattle above all that were in Jerusalem before me:
8 I gathered me also silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces: I gat me men singers and women singers, and the delights of the sons of men, as musical instruments, and that of all sorts.

Religious man has grown rich with the “wine” of Babylon…he has increased greatly. Only they are not works rooted in heavenly wisdom….but of earthly wisdom… “under the sun.”

9 So I was great, and increased more than all that were before me in Jerusalem: also my wisdom remained with me.
10 And whatsoever mine eyes desired I kept not from them, I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced in all my labour: and this was my portion of all my labour.

For religious man’s works…as Solomon reveals to us….are all “vanity and vexation of spirit.” There IS NO PROFIT under the sun.

11 Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.

What can religious man do that hasn’t already been done? Solomon knew that religious man would follow in his footsteps after the works of his own heart.

12 And I turned myself to behold wisdom, and madness, and folly: for what can the man do that cometh after the king? even that which hath been already done.

Heavenly wisdom excels the folly of religious man. Man’s earthly works are based on his earthly “wisdom” which is from below. The true Light…the knowledge of God in Christ Jesus….excels the darkness of man’s mind and his religious works of darkness….his “great, wonderful” works.

13 Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness.
