I have had years now of interacting with various groups on forums, who
come from many different fellowships.
These have been very diverse but a series of ethical, moral outlooks have
permeated some groups to the extent that when talking about the same
verses very different interpretations are taken.

After many interactions, I suddenly realised a list of ideas above scripture
could be listed which a group had adopted and just agreed with each other
while not realising these are unbiblical and non christian perspectives.

1 Everything is evil unless done in the Spirit, makes trusting in someones sincerity or honesty impossible.
2 Believing slough is Gods way, any effort or desire to be righteous or holy is evil.
3 Hating individuals who one has labelled as false teachers or wolves is acceptable behaviour.
4 Abuse and being disparaging of such evil people is what they deserve.
5 Privilege is our gift from God, and having any doubts is satanic.
6 Satan uses scripture to cause condemnation, so any conviction feelings are not God even when from His word.
7 You only need to love your fellow believers.
8 Fear is evil, so fearing God is of satan, because God forgives us while we sin.
9 There is only one view of a passage, and they possess it.
10 A good teacher is essential, the Holy Spirit cannot be relied upon
11 The church is brainwashed to believe the creeds and statements of faith

It meant day in and day out interactions with these people got nowhere.
I would share something only to be told I was lying, dishonest and evil.
Now why this was odd, was because it was a voice in their heads that said
things about me which were not there but their voice said it was, and they
listened to this voice, and the group approved of their behaviour.

I thought it might be useful to see who else has come across this behaviour
and whether this list is helpful.

19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.
John 3:19-21

Put simply sharing Gods word became irrelevant, because even Gods word was ignored
if it failed one of the moral rules they had drawn up for themselves.
I have got to wonder, these people who do not listen to Jesus or follow Him, do they actually know Him at all.

It seems you have come across people, as I have also, who insist on being "their own Pope". I was my own Pope for years until I realized I wasn't qualified for the job. I gave up on it long ago.
