So I guess you missed the whole part where he released his long form birth certificate and everybody said "Oh, glad that's over with" and moved on, right?

And the whole "I didn't say anything about his race, YOU did, YOU must be the racist *bats eyes innocently*" is completely bogus. A white guy with an anglo name would never, ever have to put up with this crap and you know it.

This is really the heart of it. They hate the fact that a n-word got in but they no longer can say it anymore without looking like a bigot.

This is the same way people that hate homosexuals and do not wish to appear to world as intolerant feel and think when they hear of a gay parade coming.

I will hear them try and bury their hate by saying, "it is OK that they have their life, but WHY must they stick it in my face?".

All the while their straight life is being advertised in every commercial, print ad, song and movie. And Gays are supposed to be OK that straight love is plastered all over but they should not be represented.

as one of the most relentless opponents of the dear leader one can find anywhere, I think the usefulness of the birther movement is finished. sure, it was fun whipping up opposition based on where he was actually born, and it convinced a certain percentage of voters to vote against democratic policies and candidates out of disgust and rage. so, even as a stone cold slander, it was worth it.

no one with any common sense believed it, if little barry were actually a foreign born islam, then the GOP would have destroyed him if the clintons hadn't done it first. but -- it was worth votes just making the claim.

now, the whole thing is just getting dumb and dumber: from the coward lakin to the pixel counters to the amateur legal scholars who don't have enough sense to tell day from night.

its time for you people to find another hobby.

Well, as long as it's an either/or scenario as you describe, and Obama was, in fact, born within the sovereign territory of the United States (Hawaii), then he is, by your own definition, a "native born citizen," and therefore eligible for the presidency.

You say it's "not going away," Herbie, but by your own definition, you just got rid of it.

Any distinction between "Natural Born," and "Native Born" is nugatory. You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but there's no legal legitimacy to it whatsoever. Isn't there enough in Obama's policies to criticize, without resorting to meaningless contrivances?
