CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Where do they find these people. Anyone that votes for this guy has zero interest in the United States, or the freedoms it represents. It kills me how people like this love waving the flag, but have no respect for freedom. They want what their version of morality is to be the law of the land.

Why don't we get people like that in the uk? All our politicians are boring, all they do is go looking for sex in public parks, or dress up in womens underwear with oranges in their mouths and plastic bags on their heads and are found dead from asphyxiation.

Yet another moron who equates porn in general with kiddy porn. He says he is only after kiddy porn, but jabbers about bookstores. You don't find kiddy porn in bookstores, you retard, it's complely underground. Most people would have no idea how to find it.

You never know with some politicians. Sometimes they have a sense of humor, but when they say things like this it tends to be panicky overgeneralization to gain public approval. It's easier to make a sweeping judgement than to explain the complexities of how to handle the issue in a balanced manner.
