  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My four year old has a problem with it.  I think it's the applejuice.  She loves it.  She hasn't had it, though in about 5 days and viola... no more constipation.    I haven't asked the doctor about it yet, but thought maybe some wisdom could be found here?   Does applejuice cause constipation?  In any event, I don't think she'll be drinking anymore of it. :)

Apple juice does not provide fiber.  I don't think it causes constipation though.  Could it be that instead of drinking apple juice she is eating more fruits?  Whole fruits contain fiber which is missing in many juices.

I don't know about the juice, but I believe I've heard that apples help "bind you up" if you have the opposite problem of constipation, as do bananas and certain types of cheese. So I suppose apple juice could be the cause of the problem. I guess I'd withhold the AJ for a week or 2 and see what happens. Can't hurt to give it a try.

Try to make water the #1 choice of drink in your house.
