Consoles vs. portables

Do you prefer/play console or handheld games more?

Growing up I played both about the same, but nowadays I tend to play handheld games a lot more. I love my ds and psp . It's great for long trips when I'm not driving or if I have a few minutes of waiting solo, watching a movie.

I play both a lot, really. I don't take my portable systems anywhere most of the time: just play 'em on my couch. But both portables and consoles offer unique experiences.

I played both growing up but now I only play consoles.

i prefer handhelds myself. they're cheaper, easy to maintain, and easier to carry around.

I tried every handheld that came out but ended up disliking them because they ran out of power constantly. Now they have built in batteries at least. Still having to worry about power all the time makes them less fun. However I do enjoy my Ipad. Especially since I have a 8 hour back up battery I carry around.

Consoles are fun in their own right to since there are more for gaming on big screens with lots of people. Hence why portable gaming is called "casual".

I love my ds. I actually prefer it to consoles now that the handheld is getting much more sophisticated.

Not really liking many portables outside of pokemon

All the marios, the world ends with you, zelda, luigis mansion, and of course pokemon.

I've always preferred consoles. I don't mind handheld games but I only play them when I'm traveling.

I like handheld games for trips but I prefer consoles.

I like handhelds. Nintendo DS was the best portable I ever play that have over 60 DS games I consider good.

I don't think anything will beat out the N64 as my favorite system.
But when it comes to newer systems, I'm gonna say hand-held. I think the 3DS has a great selection of games

I prefer consoles but I find them to be too hard on my eyes so I play handhelds.
