I'm scared. I'm frightened I'm not saved, yet I did believe in God and the Gospel because He gave me faith. I've sinned so much though, the other night I think God gave me over to my sin, and the consequence was feeling completely alone, like I was the only one in existence, like solipsism. I think God gave me a spirit of unbelief because of my hardened heart, and I don't know how to get out of it. I'm considering suicide because I don't want to sin any more and increase my punishment in hell. If you can, please help.
The fact that you are on this site indicates to me that your heart is not hardened yet I think it's Satan who is trying to make you feel condemned. If you were condemned you wouldn't even care about God at all. Everyone sins, if a person says they don't they have told you a lie. We are forgiven sinners! All you have to do is profess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and accept him as your Lord and savior and repent (repenting is a lifetime ordeal). Once you have accepted Jesus he has entered into your heart and you are now eternal. I would ask help for your depression if I were you. They can give you medication to help you feel better and you can talk to a specialist. Also pray to Jesus that he may grant you joy and happiness. I recommend joining a church family if you are not apart of one.
If you confess Jesus is Lord you do not have a spirit of unbelief.. we no longer walk by our feelings but we walk by faith and his word. He has not given us the spirit of fear or unbelief.
hope this helps
