I am sorry you do not understand. My name is not Google.
I do understand. I do not necessarily think it's what everyone thinks, although I definitely believe it exists.

God bless

Seems like this is more along the lines of "rich & connected privilege" than "white privilege".

Unless there's a bunch of cases where lower class white people who get caught mishandling guns, smoking crack, and committing tax fraud getting the same sweetheart deal?

I'm an upper middle class white guy, I suspect that if I got caught smoking crack, tossed my Glock in a dumpster across the street from a high school, and falsified my taxes to the same proportions that Hunter did (all within the same 3 year time period), I likely wouldn't be getting the same slap on the wrist he's getting.

Black or White, Republican or Democrat or Independent, middle class or poor, just about everyone should view this one as a slap in the face.

Who was Hunter caught smoking crack by?

Who was Hunter caught smoking crack by?
Whoever it was who took the picture of him passed out with the pipe...

And by his own admission.

Normally if someone's addicted to a drug, if they're not caught by law enforcement, it doesn't "count"... However, admitting to being an addict combined with checking the "no, I'm not addicted to any drugs" box on the background check form is a problem as it would directly imply that one lied on an ATF form.

According to the ATF (with regards to lying on the paperwork):
Applicants who knowingly falsify information may also face criminal prosecution for a felony and up to 10 years in federal prison.

This information is a little dated (it's from the late 90's, I'm not able to quickly find any new stats)

Of the 203,300 prisoners serving a sentence in a State or Federal prison in 1997 who were armed at at the time their crime was committed, for 16% of them, the crime in question was possessing a firearm while possessing or being under the influence of drugs.

So it is something that's normally taken seriously. There was a case in my own state of Ohio 3 years ago (in Dayton) where a guy got 3 years in prison (followed by 3 years of probation) for lying on the drug question because he was a habitual user. He was originally getting the max penalty thrown at him, but he made a plea deal to get the 3 years instead of the full decade behind bars.

You think White Privilege is an essay? Then why not link to it rather than to Wiki of the author?
When I was younger at least there was some substantive writing about urban poverty. My views were shaped by a book

titled: When Work Disappears by William Julius Wilson who is African American. The title of his book and how poverty persists seems pretty clear ( I read the book back in the 90s & still have it).It is interesting that another white, academic egghead named Waldinger at UCLA criticized Mr. Wilson’s book. When we see stores closing down, increasing crime, & perpetual poverty Mr Wilson’s solid research will be obscured & the “expertise” of the McIntosh & Waldingers will help keep the stagnation & decay in place.

The “distinguished” Roger Waldinger per google search:

Yessiree, the so called activists who protest about so called privileges and seem to embrace privilege for their own. For ex. BLM “activist” John Thompson has a son who deals drugs ( like Hunter B.) & runs people down in hit run driving in different states.

“activist” John Thompson:

His illustrious son:
