The UMC as a whole I guess. The "Open Minds. Open Hearts" thing almost pushes the boundaries for me. The recent events at the General Conference is really disturbing and in my opinion it's only a matter of time before gay marriage is sanctioned in the Methodist church. When that day comes I will have to leave.

My local church is pretty moderate through and through. And so am I.

We do have people on either side, but we all get along somehow?

Yeah I guess I'm just not seeing the extreme liberalism, or conservatism for that matter. I am moderate and my church is too...I like that!

That's a positive.

We've been looking wistfully at the Episcopals and the UCC for several years now, but I like the UMC's diversity and a chance to fight for what is right within the denomination.
