Sure, we can go on all day, all week, all four years long about how the Left has been queering society, but at the same time, I think it behooves us to focus even more on criticizing the active appearance of any un-Christian, immoral insularity which we see among a "diversified Republican" party and how some among them/us refuse to embrace integrity.

I know it's difficult, but hey! Folks. We have to start somewhere; I'll start with myself in 2025 by working on renovating my own integrity----which we all should, really------and as I do I'll say that I'm with what Jon McCray (a.k.a. Waddo You Meme?) says as he exposes what he exposes in the following video for our mutual edification.

Yes, that's what's going on, and so, maybe let's try to get our house in order for the sake of our Republic ?????

Here's the video synopsis: We shouldn't support Republicans who aver for a fully Libertarian and Libertine mode of life. End of story.

What specifically do you think conservatives are doing wrong?

I'm not answering with what Jon McCray himself offers in the video. If you can't watch the video, I'm not going encapsulate it for you.

But if you need a hint----we shouldn't support Republicans who aver for a fully Libertarian and Libertine mode of life. End of story.

What concerns me is that young men are thinking Andrew Tate is AOK because several conservative leaders they trust think he's great. As a mother of sons and grandsons this is greatly concerning to me.

Andrew Tates appeal is more based on his message which is genuinely masculine in an age of sexual degeneracy, feminization/feminism and atomization. Not so much because some conservatives like him, not many do.

There is a left-right dichotomy in politics that should never make us left-Christian or right-Christian, but it does. So I get it that you want to sound at least a small alarm that Christians shouldn't be libertarian or libertine, yet some are really going that way. I'm much more, at my best, a 'solidarity' kind of guy even if the big parties are all about 'us' vs 'them'.

It is way not enough to be just anti-woke. If we are to be anti-woke it should be because we follow Christ and as a consequence of following Christ.

Yes, I think you're right that Tate's appeal is in his message, but no Christian anywhere, at anytime, for any reason, should be giving the guy the right-hand of a platform simply because he spouts a few "Re-Fublican" rants that some feel they an just simply accept. While I'm all for essential liberty and freedom of speech, for those of us who are Christian, we should know where that liberty and freedom ends when fraternizing with those who are.......................................uh.........................................as someone once said, "...of the World."

Yes, that concerns me too, for more reasons than simply that Tate is being fraternized with today.

Well he already has a platform and his ideas (some of which are valid) get spread. Christians should be able to recognize this and critique him appropriately while acknowledging there is truth in what he says, specifically about a male mindset of grinding towards success. If you don't have a compelling countervision Tate will continue to appeal to men even if you ignore him.

My take away was different. Rather, we shouldn't be embracing contrarian influencers simply because they oppose the Left and are anti-woke.

Yes, I know he already has a platform, as so many do. That in itself is no reason for Christians to offer him solidarity when his central morality is so diametrically opposed to the life of the Christian. What you're saying is a mere truism.

If anything, Jesus Himself the lives of His disciples is the countervision to Tate, but it's not incumbent upon me to make it any more compelling to him than it can be ideologically for anyone. Somewhere in the mix, the fact will always remain that picking up one's Cross will be the litmus test for anyone's willingness to follow Christ. Tate, and men like him, already know this.

Going back to the video, do you have any comments to make about Jon McCray's assessments in the video?

It actually point to the fact that our culture is infected and very sick. That infection is in the Left as well as the Right but in different ways. the toxicity affects both conservatives and liberals but differently according to their vulnerabilities. It is just the ego going off the track in either direction. On the Right it is more insidious because they paint religions over their sickness. The Left doesn't bother.

I'm not understanding your meaning. Can you explain further about your assessment of what Jon McCray had to say in the video?

First seen in Galatians: Culture (all society) is very sick - "pernicious"/death dealing not being willing to let others alone, but always seeking to drag everyone everywhere down in destruction.

I don't know about that. I think folks on both sides have a tendency to paint "religions" over their sickness being that the "sickness," biblically speaking, comes from the same source. Of course, this is nothing new in history.

I would say your strategy is then doomed to fail as I don't see conservatives or liberals offering a compelling response to the problem of modernity for men, especially regarding relationships between men and women.

I think the libertine thing is rather Trumpian, or maybe that Trump is very libertine. Anyhow, what I found turned me off to Trump early on was this perhaps Nietzschean 'will to power to do what I want' kind of thing. And that seems to be exactly what your video portrays as infecting conservative thought.

The left party has undergone a fifty year overturning, from an agrarian and labor and immigrant based party of little guys to being libertine and then sexually deviant. The right party is a bit behind but has been turning over too in it's own directions. It isn't clear how that's going yet but Trump has had a big hand in it. So too, the refugees from the left party are remaking the right party. I was one of those refugees until I butted heads with Trumpism and found no room for me in the right party. There are social conservative and libertine and economic conservatives and now old-fashioned liberals all looking for a home that suits them. It's very much a party in flux. I don't know that it holds together.

John Paul II's 'theology of the body' and boring old Catholic morality go pretty far in guiding us to a good relationship between men and women. Wokism doesn't even know what men or women are. Libertinism is only the using of women and men. Neither side gets anywhere really but more heartache and disfunction. In that sense they are doomed. Those ideologies, both of them, are bankrupt. But possibly the older social conservatism can be open to, or remember, something better. That is if conservatives have actually conserved any of the eternal verities of a man and a woman.
