CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey all, cracked a bone in my foot at work today~appreciate any prayers. Not much pain really but the whole "stay off your feet" thing~visiting an orthopedic doc monday to see what the final treatment will be, just in a splint/cast thing for now.

I'm praying too sis. Do keep us posted won't you? As for me I would like prayers for me and a Christian friend of mine. We used to be really close but have drifted apart lately. She always seems to be very busy with one thing or another and we hardly get to talk nowadays.
Please pray that, if it is God's will, we will regain the old closeness as I still care for her and I think she still does for me.

Pray that God will heal me and take away my anger. Above all else I need to lose my anger as I know Satan is taking advantage of it and I don't want that. Btw how's your job search going rmw? I need prayers about my health. My blood pressure has been creeping up. My doctors has me trying a special diet since the side effects of blood pressure medicines make me ill.
