Thank you for your prayers for our nephew.

An update: He withstood five hours of brain surgery last night. They removed blood clots, relieved the pressure and drained fluid. He is not in a coma and I don't know if that is a good sign or not, but I think that it is. Thank You Lord.

If I may I would like to ask for a little prayer... I went to the doctor this morning because I am not able to put weight on the ball of my foot. Right now the x-rays are all clear, and I can't recall hurting it. The doctor thinks it's just irritated, but MAN does it hurt!!! And, I'm on crutches, which is actually a bit of a challenge. So, if you would say a quick prayer that the swelling will go down, and the pain would lessen so I can actually sleep, I would greatly appreciate it!

Father God in heaven, we bring these two requests to You this morning. Lord, we recognize you as Jehovah Rophe, our healer. Lord Jesus, You provided for us this gift by the stripes on Your back as it says in Isaiah, "by these stripes we are healed". So thank you merciful Lord for the healing you are giving Tangeloper right now. Give her release from the pain in her foot so that she can rest fully today. Thank You Lord!

And Father we also bring Lisas nephew to You this morning. Thank You for a good report from the doctors! May he recover fully from this accident and give all glory and honor to You for his healing. We pray that the swelling in this young mans brain will go down to it's normal size and that he will continue to heal. We know all things are possible for You Father God, and in Jesus name we ask this now.

Praise the Lord, Lisa!!! That sounds like very good news indeed! Especially as he is breathing on his own! Prayers continuing here for continued healing, strength and comfort for his family and friends, as well as wisdom and guidance for all of his caregivers.

Dear Lord, I come to you with Thanksgiving in my heart for all you are doing for Jacob. Please continue to heal his body. Give him the strength and help him to heal completely.

You have given me someone tonight. Lord, please give me the wisdom and the words to speak to this young man. I am always amazed at how you bring people together at the right moment and I am honored that you choose me as your vessel. Please, dear Lord, please help me to say the right thing and to plant that seed. In Jesus Name, I pray, Amen.

I wanted to let you all know very quickly that my foot is feeling immensely better than it was just this morning!!! Praise the Lord! I still can't walk on it, but I'm not needing to ice it constantly and when my pain meds wear off I'm not running to the prescription bottle for another! LOL YAY!!!

Still praying here for your nephew, Lisa... Stay strong, and have faith -- nothing is impossible with the Lord at our side!
