O.K. guys, heres your chance to explain some guy behaviour: I have this really close guy friend and we do everything together. For example, he will call me to hang out and we will sit in his truck for literally hours just laughing and talking and even reading together. We always help eachother out when we're going through tough times. Now don't get me wrong, to me he's like the big brother I never had.
Lately he's been talking to me about how much he likes one of my friends, and how much hes heartbroken that she doesnt like him back. Thing that confuses me so much, is that his best friend has told me that this guy friend likes me. Now why would he talk to me about my friend that he likes so much if he likes me instead? Or maybe he like both of us?

Hey what do you know, we're both having gay friend dilemas, I'm the thread above. Explanation, either your friend who is a girl is lying, or you guy friend is bi and likes two people at once. It happens, you can like two people, if your bi you can like both sexes of people I guess. What to do about it? Lord only knows because I don't. You can't turn that part of him off. Maybe if he's bi he's better off because he already likes the other sex, maybe he can just focus on sticking to girls and ignore guys or something, idk. Just don't put him down or ignore him, being like your best friend, if he's confused he probably needs you the most. Another thing, maybe it would be best (if he realy does like you) not to hang out with him alone and don't tempt him. Don't just drop him like a disease, but help the poor guy out and help him aviod temptations.

The way I read the OP, it sounds like the guy likes 2 girls at once.

Lol, for some reason I thought your sign was the boy sign and blue all the time. Lol, I thought you were a boy talking about a friend who is a boy. Lol, see, that's my dilema in my post, my friend is a boy who likes boys, lol. *Sigh* I thought I wasn't alone, jk.

You're not alone KindGuardian , even if the details of your trial is unique . ( Which it isn't entirely . )

For there are only a handful of lessons which we need to learn in life ; but those lessons manifest under a myriad of different circumstances .

( See Romans Ch. 12 & 1st Corinthians Ch. 13 )

Peace and Joy In Christ .

Maybe your friend is just saying that he likes another girl to try to gauge your reaction and see if you like him. Maybe he's also trying to elicit some sympathy from you?

My sentiments exactly! :D  This dude trying to spark ya...;)...he hoping that if you really like him too...you'll speak up!

well well well.. I talked to him about it and his friend was just trying to mess with my mind. The guy really does like my friend and not me. So we can go back to being buddies without any worries!

I don't know.. not be negative, but it seems that he likes you not your friend.. he may have freaked when you asked him about it.. Just keep an eye out to see if he starts acting strange.

Yep I have to agree, if I was you I would watch how he looks at you for example. A romantic and sincire look and watch how he acts twords you, look for the small details they are hints that he has stronger fealings for you.
