The first one I was with a girl who graduated high school 2 years younger than me (I graduated in 09). Never spoken to her but certainly found her attractive...but, the dream consistent of us riding in my truck, with me driving and her sitting really close to me and we both kissing and then making out and I woke up.

That was a couple months ago, fast forward to a little over a month ago, our paths crossed and happened to be at the same party, after I had a few more beers and some liquor a few of my buddies gave me. I went up to her and talked to her, I really do not remember entirely what the conversation contained but from what I remember it was small talk and she seemed somewhat not interested. Now, Friday night, I got about 3-4 hrs of sleep because I had some work that needed to be done Saturday morning in regards to my business (getting all the financials prepared to get the final P&L statement), and even though I got hardly any sleep, I had a dream that involved her. It was positive, from what I remember, we were with eachother and talking with 2 of her friends at a table, can't remember where the table location was but she had seemed into me during this dream.

I had done some googling on dreams after this as being that a dream related to her has happened twice I want to know what it could mean.

Your brain resolves discord and confusion at night, and makes sense of relationships, situations.

You seemed to have wished in real life that she would like you, and you found she was not interested at the time. Your brain filed your relationship back into friendly enticement mode, and you were at peace with having a friendship with an edge. That's a good thing, IMO.

If you had stayed unresolved about wishing for more and not being free to resolve that with her (due to relationships involving two people's choices), then obsession could set in and you could become relentless in convincing her of your worth.

It sounds to me like you have a healthy brain -- hold onto this one.
It was positive, from what I remember, we were with each other and talking with 2 of her friends at a table, can't remember where the table location was but she had seemed into me during this dream.

It fine to test these types of dreams, but as has been mentioned above, it's important we don't confuse this with the real people when the test indicates no link between the dream & reality.

Sometimes persons in our dreams can provide the kind of companionship that we miss in our waking hours. These types of dreams can help us in our singleness as we wait for a marriage partner- if marriage is something you desire.

The dream is not necessarily a sign of a problem or something you need to do. But it might be worth thinking about whether in waking hours you getting enough social contact with other people where you're not just with them for a task or to achieve something, but to enjoy relationships- relationships where there can be sharing at a deeper level.

It means you're being tempted to sin. Your dream certainly was leading to fornication, and that is not from God. At the party, you're getting drunk, which is another sin, and then you meet this girl. It's all connected to sin, which means that you are being tempted. You need to be sober minded so that you can resist the devil. So stay away from these parties and away from friends that are giving you beer and liquor. This woman is also bad news; you have probably already committed adultery with her in your heart. Nothing good will come out of that. You need to live a holy and sanctified life. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and it doesn't belong to you, it belongs to God. Don't defile it for worldly pleasures. You need to be into God and not the world.

I have some very choice words for you but if i said them I would be banned from this forum. Where does the bible say it is a sin to drink? Thats rediculous, we drink wine at church!!! and how would you know I talked to her because I wanted to fornicate with her? I will never leave my friends, best group of guys you could meet, we work hard, half of us own businesses, are educated as well as very successful compared to 99% of people around our ages. How dare you say such an asinine statement.
As for committing adultery with her via my heart?? Adultery is cheating on ones spouse, I can not cheat when I am single.

As for the one who asked if I wanted to get married, yes I certainly do, that is absolutely the best thing that can happen in ones life

In your first dream you were drunk and the girl wasn't interested.

In the second dream you were civilly communicating at the table with friends and the girl was interested.

These two dreams are starkly different and were deliberately delivered to you to show you extreme examples, so you can see where you need to go with your desires and your relationships. The first will not produce what you really want and lacks God's blessings, and the second is proper and will bring you what you desire according to God's will for your life.

P.S. Please forgive "thesunisout". He/she spoke truth (minus the fornication part), but spoke it in a judgmental spirit. It did not edify you, it hurt you, and I hope that was not their intent.

Anything done in excess is a sin. It is not a sin to drink, but it is a sin to be drunk. The Word says in Ephesians 5:18 .."to be not drunk with wine, but be filled with the spirit". That is only one of many that tells us that it is a sin. We might be able to fool ourselves into thinking what we are doing is ok, but we cannot fool God. He sees all of you........ your thoughts, heart, and your intentions are fully exposed to him.

Be encouraged....the Holy Spirit really is working with you and showing you new and better ways to live out your walk with Him. We are all constantly learning and being taught God's higher ways. None of us have fully "arrived".

I am so sorry. You are right, I did not read that correctly.

You desire a relationship with her, or a relationship with someone symbolically like her, and it is showing up in your dreams. A truck is a "burden bearing" symbol. What does the "making out" part of your description mean? A table is a place of communicating/meeting/talking/decision making. What other symbolism in the dreams did you need help with?

It's a sin to get drunk:

1 Peter 5:8

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

1 Corinthians 6:10

Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 6:19

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,

You grieve the Spirit of God by getting drunk and defiling *His* temple

Live a holy and sanctified life:

Ephesians 4:22-32

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body. “In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need.

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

As far as your friends who are supplying you liquor

1 Corinthians 5:11

But now I am writing you that you must not associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With such a man do not even eat.

1 Corinthians 15:33

Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”

Looking at someone with lustful intent is adultery at heart:

Matthew 5:28

but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Making out meaning kissing.

To "thesunisout",
It is one thing to desire to help others for our Lord, it is another to hit them over the head with scriptures. The scriptures say "God is love" and loving the Lord and one another is the highest commandment. What loving or encouraging thing have you communicated to "gettinwork" here?

To "gettinwork". Ok. Thank you.

It isn't loving to ignore sin. I was helping him by showing him the scripture that he needs to be aware of, in relation to the dream and to what he said in his description.

My mother used to say "there is a nice way to say everything". The "words of our mouth reveal the condition of our heart", and to me....that includes what we don't say too. The Lord will show you what I mean, in His special loving way.
