The 10 reveals the cesspool of the human heart perfectly, foremost including mine, and sadly I break too many of them even before noon, i.e., viewing more from the light on these 10 shed in the N.T. My point, we all break the 10 due to our sinful proclivity and propensity; however the 10 with the rest of the O.T. in the sense of Rom.3:19, 20, not much doubt that I have enough of God's understanding allowing the Holy Spirit revoking all licenses to sin....coupled with Rom.3:18....to flee from the power of sin to God's grace in the two Greatest Commandments, e.g., Deut.6:4, 5; Matt.22:37, etc. Sorry wanted to be more brief and sinfully got carried away.
Have you ever broken the 10 commandments? Have you kept the 10 commandments perfectly?
So then why do you insist we keep them? If no one has ever kept the 10 perfectly?Nobody has, except Jesus. So what should we do, strive to keep the 10 commandments or strive to break them?

This question is never answered ... Why do they complain to us for doing what they themselves do ? They consider it just fine to break the Sabbath but it is wrong for us . They strain a gnat and swallow a camel .So then why do you insist we keep them? If no one has ever kept the 10 perfectly?
They don;t even keep the Sabbath that they claim to worship . And , that is a part of the stone tablets they adore .yup..buffet, and i can't get a straight answer..ok, fine, they want the 10..whatever...they are "eternal", they think, ok whatever... yet the reach out of the 10 for food stuff, as you say, pick-n-choose, all while they choose not to reach out and keep the festivals!

the festivals were commands.
not the law that said stone witches or homosexuals.
God tells me that the law cannot make me righteous.
do u think that people here on the thread, don't see my point, that you won't answer?
you talk of the 10, as you select food laws, all while you somehow choose to reject the festival commands.
please advise.
It's a simple question: are Christians free to break the 10 commandments, yes or no? My answer would be no. But for some reason you refuse to give an answer.
Jewish folk follow the 10 commandments. Christians are to follow the covenant of Jesus. What laws did he establish?
I believe that the ten commandments teach moral principles that every Christian ought to obey.
Chuckle chuckle. You make a good point but I wonder if the real purpose of this thread is to urge everybody to keep Saturday as sabbath and to insist that anybody who does not is a law breaker and so under judgement.

I ask again, should we strive to keep the 10 commandments or should we break them? I shake my head in despair with the amount of Christians who can't give me a yes or no answer
Lol. Obviously.Originally Posted by MoreCoffee

In case your in doubt, Love God and Love thy neighbor are the "10", so hated by the ones against God.
