CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am feeling depressed a little less. I appreciate you all getting me through this. I feel I've lost my best friend. I took almost constant care of Lenny because they told me he was on his way out 3.5 years ago. With the medicine they gave me he got back to almost himself and lived all this time but because he was old he needed protection from Lucy who would pick on him bad. I had to seperate them. I let Lenny out and Lucy out at alternating times. You can see in this picture Lenny sitting between Lucy and his cages. Lenny love Lucy but she was terrible to him. It's just in some birds nature to do that to the other bird and especially when they are sllower and old. Lenny had a real good life up to the end.
