I was being very, VERY ironic.

Although I do wonder sometimes if there might be people who are callous enough, and vicious enough to rejoice in the idea that such-and-such is going to end up in Hey-yell (and who get a real rush from those thoughts).

I'm not one of those people, though.
Who would ever rejoice in that? Nobody that calls themselves "Follower of Christ" I hope. But i'm sure people like that exsist, sad.. I wish there wasn't a lake of fire and all that. I don't want anyone there. But it's too bad. :(

Then since we all sin, how can the Holy Ghost dwell in any human being with "'ungrieved' sovereignty."

You seem to want to fight, which is why I deleted my last post and just said nevermind.

So since we all sin how can we ever think that we will ever go to heaven? Since God can't be in the presence of evil how could we ever think that we will one day be in His presence?

What is your definition of ungrieved I guess would be a good question to ask here? If any sin grieves the Holy Spirit then.....................I guess we are really in trouble since the Word tells us not to grieve the Holy Spirit.

The Word also tells us we are cleansed of all sin through Christ.
We are holy through Christ, this not of ourselves, not of our worth or our ability not to sin. But through His cleansing blood.

I'm not trying to fight--I was simply asking for an explanation.

So since we all sin how can we ever think that we will ever go to heaven? Since God can't be in the presence of evil how could we ever think that we will one day be in His presence?

I think Miracle_Storm answered this in her post.

Again, I think that Miracle_Storm provides the answer to this.

I agree, and was just trying to see where Archivist stood on this.

Thanks for your response.

Well, I could name names, but:

  1. to do so is really tacky
  2. doing so violates CF rules
  3. those people already know who they are and I don't need to repay their spitefulness with spitefulness of my own...
