I think, after having spent some more time in GA, I am beginning to see where a little bit of the problem lies. Many Christians are in there preaching about Fire and Brimstone and not conveying love. I have even seen people blatently tell them that God does not love them because they are not "saved"! It is no wonder that many of them are bitter toward Christians!

Last night while posting to them I tried posting nothing but love and my own experiences. I did not tell everyone to "repent or they are going to Hell" like many of the posters there seem to do. It seems that the more gentle I was, focusing on my own experiences with God, the more open they became to having a discussion with me. I PMed many of the Christians that I saw exhibiting this behavior and asked them to please take it easy and that they should try to go a little slower and what I recieved back were (ofcourse) anti-catholic remarks. Basically, I am not a real Christian anyway and so I should just leave it to the "real Christians".

Anyway I believe this might be another thing to look at. Why are they so bitter? What can we do to change the way many of our members address them. My own son (my youngest) became emotional and said some things he shouldn't have said to them, as a result I took him off CF and had a long talk with him. I will not allow him back on until he learns a little more love and tolerance. (I am not talking about Disciple3 ) With this said, I do still have a problem with the people who are there for the specific reason to deconvert Christians and the ones who openly bash Christianity and Jesus but I think the other problem might even be worse.

My suggestion would be really cracking down on Christians who do not use finesse with their posts. Ghandi once said "I really love your Christ it's your Christians I don't like" (something like that) This could be a reason for much of the bitterness there toward us. What are your thoughts?

Nice post Christy:) I think the way to handle protestants is to show them that the Catholic church is not heretical. Tom(nyj) and I are supposed to do that in our debate with Lotar, et al. next month. Pray all goes well:prayer:

I would continue to show love and not lose heart. We know that hatred and prejucice do not come from God. It is the hardest thing to love our enemies and pray for them that persecute us. I think that you are doing amazingly well over there;)

And they'll simply tell you that it was all a simple matter of mathematical probability.
Or they'll bring up the theory of infinite possible worlds to deal with further probablility arguments (of which many have been made about the impossibility of life in our universe considering the existence of one universe)...

My stance on this the whole time is the fact that matter is niether created or destroyed, it is never destroyed it only changes. I have repeatedly said this. I said that the proof of God comes with this scientific fact. If matter never is destroyed but only changes how are we to say there is no God? If matter can only change and can not be created by human hands how did it get here? Over and over I said this. My point the whole time is that the proof of God comes in the things around us. This was also Paul's stance. If I am correct about matter, that proves God. Why? How did it all get here.

The premise of the atheistic Big Bang theory is that there was nothing and then there was Gas. The Gas rubbed together and super heated into plasma. This plasma became so condensed and explosive, that it finally did explode. Out of all of this we came to evolve on this earth. The same goes for evolution. the atheistic evolutionist says that bacteria evolved from the gasses in the atmosphere. To make things short that bacteria turned into a tadpole, then lizards, then rats, then monkeys and finally they turned into a man wearing a suit and carrying a brief case. This whole theory when applied to atheism contrtadicts science. Some atheists would say the the gasses the turned to plasma were always there. The same thing we can say about God. Either way you look at it God is proven. The atheist with his arguments against God further proves him by contradicting himself and his science.

This has been my point the whole time. I feel that all the people who have disagreed with me have completley misunderstood my view. I hope this can clarify.
So, who created God? What you have so far failed to understand is that the next step of your logic is "where did God come from?".

This is true, I have had atheists say this to me. My question to them is, where did the gasses come from? You still do not get my argument. Science contradicts atheistic evolution.
