Concern for the Disabled

I am concerned for the disabled of this country. There are millions of helpless people who can not feed themselves or speak. Many are retarded and autistic. Let us pray for them and their loving caregivers, who go on day after day and do not pull the plug on their lives. Jesus gave us His commandment to love each other.

"Lord, please give love and joy to the helpless little ones of your Kingdom and the people who care for them. Teach us to follow your example. I pray this in your Holy name, Jesus. Amen"

Psalm 10: 12-14
Arise, O Lord! Punish the wicked, O God! Do not forget the helpless! Why do the whicked get away with cursing God? How can they think, "God willnever call us to account"? But you do see the trouble and grief they cause. You take note of it and punish them. The helpless put their trust in you. You are the defender of orphans.

I am a caregiver, and I work with those who are developmentally disabled.

Thank you for your prayers for me, and the folks like myself that work in this field, and may I add my prayers to all of yours!
