Hey, about my HP, basically there is a slot on the back that is taken up by a modem card, but how do I know if it is a AGP or PCI-Express? I'm attaching pictures so you can see.

But from what you're telling me, maybe you should have someone who knows computers well physically take a look at it.

I think that's the best option. Take it slow and avoid doing anything radical. If your hard drive failed you most likely have to reinstall Windows and all your programs again. Get the newest video driver, get latest game patch, run the game on lower settings with minimal background tasks.
