Computer issues = spiritual attack?

Hello,

I don't know what to make of this. Yesterday, I had an issue with my work computer turning on. All I had to do was unplug it for a minute then plug it back in and it's up and running.

Today I have a "plugable" multi port device that continues to flicker on and off and I have to unplug IT to get it to work again.

I am not only open to the idea that this is somehow spiritual in nature, but I also believe that we are all energy. That somehow my energy is shorting this stuff out. I truly don't know what to make of it. My girlfriend is also experiencing these issues. Similar but not the same. She's having audio issues that sounds like interference until she restarts the audio.

Here's what's new:
My relationship with her.
She's been away from Christianity for a while and I've been introducing her back into it.
I'm trying to get out of my miserable job and have two job interviews - one yesterday, one today
I'm feeling a pull away from my relationship with her already. We've only been dating two weeks.

I'm really struggling emotionally and have been meditating and praying a lot. I'm an unstable Christian who has incorporated a lot of new ageism and Buddhism into my understanding of Christianity. I do not believe the church as it is today is correct in a lot of areas and have been exploring Christianity and questioning all of my preconceptions. I have a lot of doubt about the hyper-emotionalism of Christianity as well as the hyper-intellectualism. Both are erroneous in my view.

At least you're aware of this. Some aren't. I would encourage you to let go of anything spiritual or religious that does not come from the bible. The bible needs nothing of humanistic spirituality. It is stand-alone.

Electronic things are being loaded with more and more complex junk. Everybody I've known of has had mega computer problems these last few months. If you can isolate your personal ones (at least somewhat), all the better. I too had to let go of assumptions based on what clashes with Bible meanings. I'm also sensitive (I spent years zoned out, but now I bear pain and don't panic when afraid). If "our energy" is doing things like that it's best to keep cool and pray to God that it will go away or otherwise resolve; and especially that it won't be another "energy".

First try doing what the Bible/God/Jesus recommend. Everything is founded on the laws of God. So if we ignore them we can't quite blame God for our troubles. The main problem (obviously) with dating is premarital sex. If you've fallen into this trap (and so many non-believers expect it and are actually insulted if we don't chase them like rabid dogs) then use your feelings of detachment to help you resist having sex. See how you feel when you're together for a few days with no sex. You may feel closer mentally and this could hugely help general communication. Look at things that are condemned in the Bible and try living without them. Dabbling in other religions won't let Christianity bloom. You've tried them. They obviously didn't work well for you (they never do but that's another topic!) so as you have an open mind give God a chance. Nothing to lose, right? Even things as seemingly innocuous as yoga can cause big problems. (There's lots of ways to stretch without using yoga.) I guess what I'm trying to say is if you go in, go in 100%. Then decide if God is real. (Psssst.....He is.)
And if you have questions/concerns about the Bible post them here and any other Christian forum you've found and see what people say. There are a lot of smart people online very willing to give of their time to help people they have never met because it just feels right.

*laughs* I remember this one time, back when dial up internet was "the thing" and my connection was disconnected randomly, then I received a call. It was just static, the static almost sounded like a ghost. lol . almost forgot about that.

In dry winter air we can discharge a bunch of static and touch screens can be sensitive to this, driving your computer bonkers. We don't have to hyper spiritualize everything. That said, demonic activities can be at work in the background, it's not impossible but more likely something else.

The difference is that paranormal phenomenon is rooted in a human body or electromagnetics. Spiritual issues are rooted in a spirit, in the case of demonic issues, an unclean spirit.

Hmmm/How about the concept of or really more than concept at this point, but anyway dimensions. More specifically shape and inter dimensional shifts and time etc. Any thoughts on that ( not specifically as related to computer glitches but more in our world and our time frame today) ? It seems to me it would be hard to work paranormal etc phenomenon without visiting this.

I'm not picking at you,I find this stuff a bit fascinating. I believe demonic activities and spirits in general work within these elements. It's the old time and space etc. etc..

Mockery is unnecessary. I'm not computer illiterate. I'm trying to explain that it's not JUST the power issues. There are a series of other coincidental issues that are happening that lead me to believe this isn't merely a driver issue.

So unless you simply don't believe in the spiritual realm, just keep your mockery to yourself. Very insulting.

Dimensional shifts is a new age idea, it's an extension of the concept of domains that tend to be associated with the demonic. However, the domains originally belonged to Adam. So it goes, it's not always a demon, sometimes it is you.

There are evil spirits and they can interfere with the physical world. I was trying to help someone over the net who had a problem with evil spirits. My internet went down in the middle of the conversation. The internet goes down maybe twice a year and is usually a planned outage. I was able to continue the conversation when the internet came on again. You leave yourself open because you have brought the occult and false religion into your life.

I'm also against excessive emotionalism and intellectualism. However, you are in error because you are disobeying God's word. He warns us to have nothing to do with the occult. Buddhism also is anti Christian.

For sure. Satan's attacks on Lord Jesus did not end after the temptation in the wilderness. "When the devil had finished every temptation, he left Him until an opportune time." Luke 4:13. It's no different for us.

The Lord a few years ago took me through the book of Job for about 3 months until I finally got the message. He is sovereign, all powerful. I recall feeling liberated and went on to rebuke a demon in my life and reaffirm my allegiance to Christ. To keep this short, Things have been quieter in my life since. We have a sworn enemy, it's real and works in ways we may not understand. I was fortunate that it was pointed out to me and was able to see the authority we have in Jesus, in the word to cast them away by His power and the blood.

I tell everyone it was my Job experience. It's a lesson I'll never forget. I believe that demon or the demonic of some form had been with me since childhood and I never knew it. Not that I was the target at least.

Can the demonic work within cyber space, computers and keyboards ? Absolutely, I've seen it in leading zoom bible study. We stopped prayed it out of the meeting and it stopped with no reboot I might add. This occurred twice. Is it usually the case ? Probably not. We probably have had 100 zoom meetings in the last year or so and this occurred twice. But our OP has a history with occult and such, I wouldn't rule it out totally in his case. If we are blood bought, reborn of the Spirit and living in that new birth there is nothing to fear. And we can take charge of the situation by way of Jesus Christ. And with all that said, it can be background noise/activity in our computer systems too. Learning to discern is a gift from God. Thus we must stay active in faith, in His word to gain eyes to see and to discern. It takes commitment, many today do not do that. Don't waver lest you become double minded ( I would refer to James 1:8 ).
