Why every body thought this was such a terrible question, I have no idea. I thought it was a legitimate one.

What you have observed is an expression of Christian love. Christians need to be sensitive to the needs of others and step in when they observe one being ruthlessly attacked by another. And when such action is brought to their attention they "see the woman" and do not try to defend their behavior.

What I actually see happening here is a bunch of people who, because a TRAD asked a question about the practice of a prog--responding in a mob like fashion to defend something that didn't need defending.

The question was NOT an attack--but a legitimate question that I have wondered about for quite some time now.

I find it so amusing that you people can ask YOUR 'questions' all day long about EGW-- or this or that doctrine of the SDA church in as demeaning manner as possible, but when you called on it in a report, the first thing that is feigned is... "We are only asking questions".

Could it be that since you know your 'questions' are nothing more than thinly veiled assaults, that because of the guilt inside your heart--you think that I have done the same? Yes--I think so--very much!

Just to jump in here, my Pastor is pretty busy..however, he also invited myself and others to Facebook. He seems to spend some time on there, and many would consider that a waste.

Also, I think post count really just varies according to people. Look at mine. I've been here since last March, took a couple months off..and 'still' have more than you Honor. I've seen some people on here with posts in the millions, and they have jobs! It's all a personal thing.

This is a forum for discussing beliefs. Yet you characterize participation in such discussion as an "assault." Discussing doctrine to get at what the Bible says is not an assault.

I won't mention the other party's name--but MONTHS ago--way before Tall's 'coming out', I voiced this concern about Tall spending so much time on a web forum. Then when this thread was started--I found it a good opportunity to ask him about it.

But I must say that the reaction to my question has been --well--how should I put it--interesting? I keep asking myself why would such a harmless question draw such fire from this faction?

I think it's the rock in the dog pile theory.

You and your friends had nothing but good things to say to him when he was defending Adventist beliefs in GT and posting his studies on death and hell in the Trad sub-forum. There was no hint of criticism about his spending time here then. When we started questioning Adventist doctrines, suddenly your attitudes changed completely toward us. A person wouldn't have to be a mind reader to see that.

If you had concerns you should have communicated them TO me instead of talking ABOUT me to someone else. At the present time there is no reason to do either. I am not a pastor, or even an Adventist. I am not even currently employed until next month when my new job starts up.
