I have always been a fan of this game. imy favorite versions have been
#1 Tiberium sun by westwood
#2 generals zero hour by ea games, remember, challenge every thing.

So here we go with another ea games version.

hah yeah I used to play Red Alert over the Internet all the time with my buddies. Wow that was back on my old P75 even, that and Lords of the Realm II were the best! Oh and Quake, too.

Generals Zero Hour rocked while Tiberium Sun imho is sorta like the bastard child of Westwood's line of games. Red Alert 2 finally changed infantry into more than speedbumps. I have high hopes for C&C3 although they will port it to xbox 360 *twitch*.

I just downloaded the trailer off of XBL and from that it looks like they're taking a Dawn of War approach to RTS, which is a very good thing. I still don't know how well a RTS will do on a console, but I'll rent it to give it a shot.

Wow did the game even play with that cpu? I assume you mean a 75mhz cpu!?

When i first got c&c tiberium sun, i ws running an amd k7 300 with 64 mb ram (32mb cost me $50) and a voodoo 16 mb pci video card ($100). With a 4 gig hd. It would play the game ok, untill there got to be a lot of soldiers and area opened on the map.

By the time i got "Red alert" i had a 20 gig, 2500+ barton and only upto 256 mb with an onboard video card.I was still running 98 and me.

Yeah it did, I had a speedcat video card and a good amount of RAM and the chip was an AMD 586. It did thrash a little during really big tank rushes. I was pretty happy when I got the P200 mhz with a voodoo 16. I had a laptop at the time too but it didn't have a prayer, I could only play Sim City with it mostly.

C&C Gold and Red Alert and Red Alert: Retaliation was on the original playstation.
I have both of those games and I play them on my Playstation 2. They both play fine.

I am interested in seeing C&C 3 on xbox360 though.

I didnt know that they had a version for the n 64. Btw i was in a pawn shop way before the ps2. I picked up a mouse for my ps1 I didnt know they even existed untill then.

Yeah I have the first C&C on PC, but I got it from a bargain bin after RA was released. Sadly it only had a 640x480 resolution so I didn't spend much time with it since I had RA which was much better at 800x600 (back then).

Yeah, i don't blame you for picking Red Alert. Especially if you had Win95 or 98 instead of DOS at the time.

Ok I knew there was a C&C for Nintendo but I didn't know for sure if it was for Super NES or N64. Might try to hunt that one down eventually.

I have most of C&C games for the computer. I Want to play them on my new computer but with Amd 64 duo core. I'm not sure how to do that. I hear playing old games on 64 duo core is a pain.
