  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Is there a section for comics? I'm guessing it's here.

What comics do you read?

I've only read two; the first 'new 52' Supergirl, and a Batman one 'HUSH'.

I'm considering buying a 'Suicide Squad' comic. Harley Quinn amuses me. :D

Unfortunately there's no separate section for comic books :/

There's a thread in the book section about comics but it hasn't been active for a while hahaha.

Right now I'm reading Captain Marvel and Superior Iron Man.
I quit reading The Amazing Spider-Man because I just didn't find it very captivating.

I plan to start reading The Flash (New 52) sometime. I have one issue but comics are expensive so I had to narrow down my subscriptions to just two.

I'd also like to check out Nightwing (also New 52), even though I know that already ended.

Hahaha seriously! There have been a couple times where I'd go around the store like "I want this one and this one and this one" and before I knew it, I'd be up around 20 USD :eek:

Luckily the trades seem to be a slightly cheaper alternative. You can usually get them for extremely cheap on Amazon too (if you don't mind the possibility of getting it slightly damaged) so that's kind of nice.

I'd generally want new ones, since a big reason for buying them in the art, so them not being messed up in important to me. :D
