  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Its the same thing with tofu!!

You're not kidding Happy! My mom and I tried to make some thai food the other night using tofu and it didn't taste anything like what we have at the local thai restaurant here! I was sooooo disappointed!

We love the curry dishes with tofu, but I haven't figured out how they make their tofu taste so good. Mine tasted like tofu fried in vegetable oil and didn't take on the flavor of the curry at all. :( It's a shame too because that could've saved us a lot of money...we want (but don't get to) to eat thai about once a week.

By the time you buy all the ingredients and take the time to cook it, I'm starting to think it's cheaper just to call for carry-out. LOL

And Vaudois, take back what you said about me eating old sheep or I'm gonna have to come after you!!!!

Well...it's possible. Didn't want to make you squeemish...

In all seriousness I don't think it was old sheep. Lamb just has a distinctive flavor that I didn't care for. My brother-in-law was going ga-ga over it and said it was delicious and apparently he eats lots of lamb. *I* didn't care for it though.

I just didn't like eating anything that goes "Baaaaaaaaaaa!"

Hey...Does that make you lanoline intolerant?

You could start your own support-group, lobby the FDA, picket sheep-farms and make a glorious pest of yourself, set up a line of "lanolin-free" fashion wear, get rich, have a talk show, get caught making millions off wool stock sales under the table, go to jail, get out and .....and.....well...you get the picture.

Wow, this is a little freaky. Just how did YOU know my aspirations in life?? Are you psychic? :)

In all honesty I have an affection for things that go "baaaaaaaa" because I grew up on a farm with lots of goats. I loved those critters and adopted all the babies and named each and every one of them.

I had a friend that grew up on a dairy farm and she could go out and play with the cows and come in minutes later to eat a hamburger. I never got that. LOL Her stepdad would even say "you know we're eating Rufus, right?" YIKES! They were eating a PET that they had NAMED!

And yes, before anyone gives me a hard time, I AM an Arkansas goat roper just like all the jokes imply. There are worse things to be in life I suppose. hehe

I love goats! I known them from Bavaria to New Zealand and they all are one of my favorite animals. Goat's milk is great! Goat cheese? Fantastic.
They are way less stubborn than people, and "knowth him that feedth him".
People seem to forget that everything they do and say is know of Him.

hmmm, i think i have that in my bag of tricks! haha careful or i will have to go get it!

There are some really funny people on this forum, and some hilarious things have been said, but nothing tops you and that hand! I laughed until I cried when you had that thing on. Especially your question that was something like "is my hand freakishly large?" hehehehe It was a great conversation piece for sure.

I think you should wear it for at least a day so we can have fun with it again. LOL
