Magnum, yes its a sure thing that its a no pain no gain kind of situation, but not to push ourselves in a bad way. Those old school beliefs are no good. Today, we take good care of ourselves and let bad pain be our guide that something is wrong and not to push past that without medical advice first.

Then, when we get the go ahead, we push!

Its best to take it in little steps at a time, but to keep doing those little steps every day if possible, not allowing ourselves to fall behind on the progress we've made, yet not overdoing it either.

Even so, Rocky Balboa is my secret hero.

I have two - both small children in my family. I have a 6 year- old grand-nephew named Michael who has been fighting leukemia most of his life. I have a 4 year-old cousin named Mia who has been fighting brain cancer most of her life. I think about them often when things get a little bit hard for me. I give thanks that God walks with us every step of the way in this short life.

aw that is beautiful magnum...the young seems to take things like cancer so much better than we do, and have such great positive attitudes we can all learn from.
