This guy is way off. ISON's fragments are not "miles and miles" in size, if there are any left. It was estimated that when it was complete, it was only a couple of kilometers in size. Now that it's basically disintegrated, melted skattered, there is no way that it's pieces are larger than its whole before perihelion.

Yes. People have their fingers crossed that some of the comet survived. I know there was a lot of disappointed people when it looked like the comet was destroyed or severely damaged.

It's interesting to note that this comet was not named after its discoverers (as is common practice), but after the telescope network!?

Perhaps because the names of the two discoverers could possibly translate into "waters" and "wormwood", and the place where it was discovered translates into "bitter waters"?

I love etymology and especially name meanings. I looked the second one up, the one that is supposed to mean wormwood and found these meanings:

Artyom = "safe"
Artyom = "dedicated to Artemis"
Artyom = Greek form and masculine of ARTEMIS.
Artyom = (Old Greek) follower of Artemis, safe, butcher
Artyom = of Russian origin, it generally means Butcher or Safe
Artyom = Artyom became a city in 1938 and is a center of lignite ( brown coal) production

I have often found when the obvious is not seen by the student, there is no way of explaining, and or showing him the truth, he cannot see the truth.

So I am going to tell you what you will not believe.

On December 26th 2013, a great flare will come from the Sun and there will be a 3 day warning before the storm reaches Earth. People all over the world will mourn and be in great fear, and on the 27th of December, the front pages will show the burst.

The fear will turn into gladness on the 30th because the storm will not affect the Earth, and people will think nothing has happened.

When that happens, ask me how I knew, and what is has to do with I Son.



If it doesn't happen, then I am no man of God.

But after it happens, you will say it's coincidence.

And then I will tell you.

If you are so sure that your previous post is prophecy (of G_d), then you have insulted G_d by offering it for debate.

You stand judged by your own words brother - it is either of G_d and you are simply required to speak it regardless of what the world says, or it is not of G_d; it is not for you to offer it as a debatable viewpoint. You cannot have it both ways round

I never said you said it was - read what I said. I worded what I wrote precisely because you couched it in terms that one would use in making a prophecy - that if it didn't happen as you said you 'would not be a man of G_d'; that is very much claiming it to be a prophecy, but I gave you the benefit of the doubt by saying as my first word 'If'.
