What fear comes there to those who take refuge in Messiah? "He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in YHVH." Psa 112:7LOL....well, it looks awfully like fear to me...
Yes, I understand the limitations of a two-days old 2d plot representing 3/4d. I'm working with the data I do have, and neither did I write that it was to crash into the earth.Yes, too old. When an icy object is doing over a million miles an hour in a superheated state and it's two days on, it's old data. Not to mention you don't know how to interpret it. Remember space is three dimensional. Any interpretation of a "crash course" with earth on that data is a mistake. ISON will pass far over the top (e. to the north) of the earth.
The verses I quoted (and which you copied) are not apocalyptic - they are simply stating that lights and wonders in the heavens are meant as signs for mankind - and I believe it. Those "signs" can be apocalyptic - or not.So you cite an apocalyptic verse and then say things like this: and others chip in to the apocalyptic lingo with and expect it not to look like fear-mongering/religious doomsday thinking? Religious folks (being naturally superstitious) attach some kind of significance to it. Or at least they once did so commonly. Now, it's not so common- except among the fringes. Interesting, no?
And, yes, it's interesting that wonders in the heavens were virtually universally held to possess some sort of cosmic significance, yet in more modern times those of the scientific religion dismiss them as such. I prefer a straightforward interpretation of those Scriptural verses I've quoted, and thus, the ancient perspective.
The difference is, this "comet" has been called the comet of the century/millennium.This is annoying to watch. Many comets visit us every year.
