You know, I dread weeks starting... I don't know why. And then once I get into the week I'm okay. Usually. But the dreading makes the weekends bad, and I've just gotten back into SI'ing.

Ugh. And I feel fat and uncomfortable in my body.

Meh... have to stop thinking in such ways my lady friends. Don't look at the shell that your soul is incased in, but look at the beauty of soul within. For it means far more and what we accually are than any walking pile of dust.

If there is something that makes you feel ugly, change the behavior. Year ago I looked in the mirror and saw a sad man, last week for the first time I saw a child of god. I don't think how fat I am, I think how much I want to give myself to others to help. Soul > body

Honestly theres been shootings on the streets near me and all they can do is hide behind their church doors and argue over if women are "worthy" to teach in church...no wonder this folder is fulll of depressed women, I hate this

If you are not finding god in that church, need to find another church that does has his presence. I don't know the full weight of your situation, but how difficult it may be you need a better place to grow spiritually.

IMO Don't worry about what others think about it either. Your relationship with god is more important.

Hey everybody,

Hope you are all doing well.

On my third day of taking Espiride, its supposed to start working after two days. Was still feeling anxious today but not depressed although my depression comes and goes so its hard to tell if it has fixed that or not.

Soulwings, I've had a couple of mood crashes myself, they did happen at night. I think night is generally a bad time, don't know quite why.

WorkinProgress - words of wisdom, but so hard to follow. I know that soul/personality are both more important than looks, but I don't like either of those either. So I'm kind of stuck with hating myself. At least for now. I'm trying to learn not to, but it's very slow going.

/me curls up in a corner with a cup of hot chai and her psych textbook, to study a little more before her exam.

For society's standards go against that mentality. I would say pray for understanding of why you do it. When god gave me the wisdom and I opened my eyes to things I was blind to then I started to heal more. Of course it takes an honousity to accept the cause of the problem and asked for strength to make the changes.

Sorry to be preachy like, just think we are capable of so much more.

You need help, if your depression is leading to self pain then your problem is more serious than it seems. Please, say no to this evil temptation and get help. Humble yourself and tell family or a good friend.
