Awwwww man, why are your systems heading to the great white north?

I'm from the Great White North, so one day I must return to the land of my ancestors...

I could tell pretty much everyone one of them but the one on the bottom right (not the handhelds).

PC Engine (Turbographx-16).

I am right that the rightmost handheld is the wonderswan, right? I wasn't huge into handhelds, so I can rarely tell. I wouldn't mind having a Lynx one day though.

Yup, Wonderswan! I'd also like a Lynx, but they are very expensive and hard to find in Japan. I'd also love a Turbo Express/PC Engine GT (portable TG-16), but they aren't cheap!

LOL...i figured as much, but i figured this was an immediate move to Canada you were preparing for.

I think the last time I saw a Lynx, they wanted $25 for it. I eventually need to get cracking on the system hunt.

Maybe next year. I'm visiting this summer, so I thought I'd take some stuff with me to avoid shipping fees later.

I'd be on that like a pack of hyenas on a 3-legged dog. Last time I saw a Lynx was in the wilderness of Canada... Last time I saw one made by Atari was in Tokyo for $200. It was pristine and complete in box... but that's a lot of money for something like that. Obscure American systems are expensive here.

Well, thanks. To be honest, the whole collection (minus the PS3 and Wii) only cost the same as a few new PS3, 360 or Wii games. Everything is used, but I kind of like it like that.

Just picked up a SNES. Also probably took away any chance of selling it for a lot if I need to, as I ripped out the region tabs so that I can play Super Famicom games on it.

But hey, it was a free system. One of my friends saw a lot at a pawn shop for the system +17 games (most were decent titles too) for like $70. So he bought it, already had a SNES, and just dropped this off for free because he knew I was hunting for one.

What are your favourite PCE games?

I want to rebuild my collection, but I'm not able to start on it yet. Hopefully sometime this year.

I never owned a Japanese Saturn, mine was a U.S model with a region switch. The Duo I had I picked up for a good price on Ebay, though it had sound issues, which I found was common on that model. But $125 was good considering it came with a U.S Lords Of thunder, Macross 2036, and Spriggan. I had a Super System Card for my TG-CD, back when the Duo first came out. I also had an Arcade Card Duo that came with a small lot on Ebay along with Dracula X, a Hu-Card converter, and I believe Fatal Fury 2 or something, I know it was a SNK port all for $115. I have heard that there are Sapphire pirates on the market, I've yet to play that game.

As far as my favorite TG-16/PCE games I would have to go with Cosmic Fantasy 2, Exile, Bonk's Adventure, Bonk's Revenge, Gate Of Thunder. Other good ones include Super Star Soldier, Gradius, Spriggan, Lords Of Thunder, Dracula X, I even liked both Gempei Toumaden games (I hope I spelled it right). I had a lot of PCE CD RPG's, but my inability to understand the language kept me from getting anywhere with that.

My genre of choice is RPG, followed by 2D fighting games. Most systems I didn't have a lot of shooters, but the PCE was different.

I see you had quite the collection yourself. I hope you will rebuild it even better than before.
